We were unfortunate to get a room facing the street, so late night traffic sounds were a proplem. The hotel has a small sports bar at ground level so we were able to watch the football whist having drinks there. The place was well located for the commencement of our cycling tour of the Dordogne.

When we arrived we were confused: the entrance is not at the hotel Quercy but at the hotel in the next building. At the hotel Quercy there was a man who was supposed to handle the bar at the reception but it was all the time at the couch, watching a giant TV and sometimes eating in front of it.... More

You can tell the hotel was newly remodeled. very clean. Charming location in the old city close to the river. Large Balcony (view on the river or the hills/pool) The rooms on the river are a little loud. if you need silence, request the view on the pool. I loved the breakfast. Everything is home made (The lemon cake and... More

Our comfortable top floor room opened out onto a small balcony which faced out onto a quiet part of this charming town. There is no lift and we didn't see any staff in the accommodation building, but breakfast in La Vielle Auberge was an enjoyable experience with friendly and attentive service, good food and a nice ambience. It is a... More

Rooms modern, decent sized clean and comfortable, ours with a balcony overlooking the pool.Only real issue was very thin walls, if my french was better I could have heard every word. Dogs accepted at 6 euro pnpd and we breakfasted at a local cafe thinking that 12 euro was a bit steep. As a stopoff to see Souillac en route... More

My wife and I have just returned from a cycling holiday in the Dordogne where this hotel was the start and the finish of our route. The hotel was booked by Headwater holidays for us. Our meals were provided in the adjoining La Vielle Auberge and were wonderful. The hotel itself is very basic but clean. A welcome pool to... More

We stopped there without planning during a bicycle trip and stayed there for 2 days. The place is very quiet. There is a free bicycle garage well equiped for repair if needed. There is no lift. Breakfast and dinner are quite expensive but we were given a very warm welcome. There are a lot of easy bicycle trip to do... More

We just walked in and booked the day we stayed. Lovely large rooms with beautiful french doors that open to the view of a pool. Breakast was good, you can bring it up to your balcony or eat it outside. Good place to stay for a home base too. Not far from caves, etc.
