High Keenley B&B is set high into the moorland with beautiful views, it is an authentic rustic working farm run by Sarah and Pete, friendly, hardworking hosts, providing a delicious cooked breakfast each morning. It’s a nice place to return to after a days riding or walking. Walks are plentiful and in such stunning surroundings.
Sarah is a fantastic host, nothing is too much trouble. An amazing place to stay with lovely views. The breakfast was amazing, Lovely clean room. All round a magnificent stay. Will definitely be staying again.
We stayed 3 nights early after lockdown restrictions. We felt very welcome and very safe.Sarah and Peter adapted he check in procedure and interaction to maintain social distancing. Yet made our stay very enjoyable. A lovely double room, spacious, clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast ! And enhanced our stay by recommending things to do locally. Situated in a beautiful part of Northumberland. We would recommend a stay there on all counts.
This is the third time I have visited Sarah and Pete at High Keenley Fell Farm. You will not get better views anywhere else in England - glorious moorland for miles around. The bed and breakfast offers 3 bedrooms in a separate wing from the farmhouse. (One is downstairs). There are tea and coffee making facilities in the bedrooms and in addition a mini fridge and microwave in the breakfast room if you wanted to heat up your own snacks or baby food. Sarah provides a hearty cooked breakfast made with locally sourced ingredients. Nearby Allendale has a choice of pubs for dinner. There are beautiful walks in the surrounding area & of course there is Hadrian’s wall nearby to discover. Peter and Sarah could not have been more helpful or friendly - a highly recommended stay on a working farm. …
Needed a stop off for myself and my 2 horses. Saw it was a farm and thought, il ask if any space for horses for the night!! Was not disappointed, 2 stables at the back door available due to Sarah’s daughter having her horses with her at work at the moment!! Had a one of best nights sleeps I’ve had for weeks, breakfast was simple and delicious! Very obviously locally sourced. Horses had a great night too, just disappointed I didn’t have the chance to ride them there!! Stunning countryside and I will be back! Sarah and Pete great hosts
