As part of a cycling trip around the Irish coastline this was our first Bed and Breakfast to stay in. Recommended by Terry the weaver, whose studio and workshop we had the pleasure to visit.
What a delightful place to stay. Warmly welcomed with tea and home cooking , sitting in the sunny garden, we settled in to relax after a long cycle.
Pauline even facilitated our Pizza supper, meaning we did not have to get back up on our bikes until after breakfast.
Breakfast , we started with delicious fruit, locally grown berries, nuts and seeds and muesli to fuel our engine legs for the next stage of our cycling odyssey. Then a full Irish or the really delicious pancakes and maple syrup, with home made brown bread, scones and fruitcake.
The offer to stock up our lunchboxes for hunger on the road was greatly appreciated and we availed of bananas and fruitcake , berries and biscuits.
The bedrooms are delightful, spotlessly clean, so comfortable, every possible luxury provided, including dressing gowns and slippers, beautifully new, or newly laundered and presented.
This is the perfect place. Book it if you can get a room.

This award winning bed and breakfast is so good you wont want to leave!
Myself and my Mum stayed here in July on the way to Cork to see our family.
Pauline goes out of her way to ensure you are looked after - her carrot cake is the best I have ever tasted!
Yes you don"t just get a beautiful room and great breakfast with a huge choice - she also provides cake!!!
The rooms are very comfortable with a complimentary tray of goodies, the bathroom was huge and there are complimentary toiletries.
If you can drag yourself out of this luxury the village is a couple of minutes away where there is a pub, garage and shop.
The welcome is very warm, you are made to feel at home and the location is only 30 minutes from Rosslare port which is ideal to break your journey either coming to or leaving Ireland.
We look forward to our next stay here and thank you Pauline and Chris for your hospitality.
Karen and Alice.

Myself, my boyfriend and our dog Ruby stayed in Brookvale bnb for a night and it was a wonderful stay. Our breakfast in the morning was delicious, I got a full Irish breakfast and Scott got pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, there was also an array of fruit, yogurts, scones and bread.

The room was lovely and cosy. The bathroom was very clean and we were supplied with everything you would need, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, make up remover, toothpaste, ear buds and shower cap. The mirror in the bathroom even had a light built into it which was perfect for doing my make up.

The bnb is close to wellintonbridge where we went for dinner in the local pub tir na nog where the staff and food were great.

Brookvale is in the perfect location as it is close to many places we wanted to visit such as kilmore quay, duncannon beach, tintern Abbey and hook lighthouse.

I would definitely recommend to stay in Brookvale. Pauline was a great host.

Situated just under 30 mins drive from th.e ferry port at Rosslare proved a great stop after a long days drive & ferry crossing. We received a great welcome with tea and carrot cake in the garden and a treat for our dog. The owner’s recommendation for an evening meal was spot- on but the real crowning glory was the breakfast.

Although she asked us to eat no later that 0830 as she has a day job, it was making with three kinds of berries, fruit and cereals following by great scrambled egg and smoked salmon. No sense of haste and all beautifully presented soa great start to our trip.

The bedrooms were spotless and very well equipped and although by a main room it was very peaceful.

Really excellent way to begin your trip from the UK or prepare for an early morning ferry out of Rosslare.

Pauline was so lovely, made my Son & Myself feel so welcome, had homemade carrot cake & tea for us when we arrived.
Our rooms were beautiful, Pauline has actually thought of everything, every toiletry you can think of was there for our use if needed. (robes & slippers too)
The breakfast choice is something else & so tasty, we had to leave extra early after our second night & Pauline laid a place for us with breakfast cereals, fresh fruit, breads etc just in case we wanted to eat before we left (no extra charge).
The Brookvale B&B is extra special & Pauline too.
Thank you for looking after Us both xx

Pauline is a wonderful host, who makes every effort to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Her breakfasts are a feat culinary engineering and quite exceptional. The B&B is handily located with easy access to Wexford, Waterford and all the local tourist spots. Highly recommended.

Just a short distance from Wellington Bridge we discovered a real gem of a place at Brookvale. Our room had a cosy spacious charm which overlooked a wonderful garden. We were greeted by Pauline who had a genuine chatty concern for our welfare providing a warm easy going conversations and to die for home baked cakes and excellent breakfast. The room was very well equipped with fridge goodies and self service amenities. A great stay...we are coming back. Thanks Pauline

Brookvale is one of those places where you walk in and immediately feel welcome. Pauline and Chris are so friendly and welcoming and Pauline is a born host. She thinks of everything - be it inside the cosy room with extensively equipped tea and coffee facilities, the dining room with the beautiful fireplace, the well equipped bathroom or the spacious kitchen. In every detail you can see her experience in making her guests as comfortable as possible. The pleasent shower deserves a special mention because such powerful water pressure is not commonplace in every B&B in Ireland.

A special treat is the wonderful breakfast. I am a breakfast person and I felt like in heaven!! There was so much choice and everything was absolutely delicious.

Pauline had lots of suggestions for special places for us to visit – e. g. Tintern Abbey, the Hook Peninsula with Hook Head & Lighthouse and some lovely strands and beaches as well as Wexford or the Dunbrody Famine Ship Experience at New Ross.

The B & B is easily accessible and there’s a parking lot right outside the door. So Brookvale is highly recommendable and we enjoyed every moment there. Thank you for our more than pleasent stay, dear Pauline and Chris.

We stayed in Brookvale B&B for 2 nights for a family wedding on New Years Eve. The wedding was in Horetown House about 10 minute drive from the B&B so it was the perfect location.
We cannot recommend this place enough. From the moment we arrived, Pauline and Chris greeted us with such a lovely welcome. We were shown to our rooms which were absolutely spotless and had all the home comforts in the room, especially coming in late at night from the wedding, this was fabulous m!
We were offered tea & coffee coffee on arrival.
Pauline and Chris ensured we were driven over to the location.
We had a beautiful breakfast each morning with every kind of choice on offer.
Thank so much for making the stay so enjoyable and relaxing for myself and my family.
