Whilst working in the Wexford area I came across this fabulous B&B. Having tried a few hotels I was looking for something a little different and Brookvale surpassed all my expectations. Pauline is a fabulous host, always on hand to help but really respects your privacy too. Each evening on returning from work the stove was lit for me and the amenities(fridge/microwave etc) give you great independence. Pauline has provided all the basic food essentials as well as toiletries, her attention to detail is second to none. It's a beautiful country setting with close proximity to Wellington bridge. A very relaxing cosy room in the depth of winter but the grounds and area will be equally stunning in the Summer.I'm very much looking forward to returning. I can only advise if you are considering a break in the Wexford area or travelling for business don't look beyond Brookvale! You will not be disappointed! Wishing all at Brookvale continued success. You truly deserve it!…
Pauline and Chris were delightful hosts. All services provided were above and beyond expected. Such a homely feel to our stay here in beautiful surroundings. Beautiful log burning stove in our room ensured a cosy nights sleep. Breakfast was fantastic. Most of all our furry little friend (our beloved Dog Prince) was warmly welcomed. I would highly recommend this B&B.
This B & B is ideally located for anyone wanting to explore the peninsulas of Wexford including Bannow Bay and Hook Head, and for a complete escape from any rush and bustle that is challenging you. Or to have fun nearby. Close to Wellingtonbridge, you are met with a genuine warm welcome springled with a great big dollop of kindness. Meticulously clean, everything provided, extra bedclothes, decent wardrobe with plenty of clothes hangers, woodfired stove if you wish, separate central heating, large shower and en suite, loads of choices for breakfast, plenty of healthy food offers, delicious home cooking, peaceful, beautiful landscaped garden, plenty of parking, great panoramic view. Pauline is a lovely warm person, is not intrusive but available and most helpful, if you wish. Follows all of the Covid 19 Safety guidelines - Made easy by sanitiser etc conveniently located around the premises. We had a lovely comfortable time here in Brookvale B & B on both occasions…
I arrived here to spend a few days to go visiting,..to paint ,draw and just chill the weather was not very kind to us but the Owners of this beautiful "Old World Charm b&b more than compensated for the weather Pauline & Chris Hannon were the warmest and friendliest people you could meet Sumptious luxery in the bedrooms..gorgeous gardens very spanishin style and the morning breakfasts served piping hot with pots of hot coffee kept hunger at bay all day. A charming couple in a charming setting. I would have given them ten stars if i could. A real treat.
Just a short distance from Wellington Bridge we discovered a real gem of a place at Brookvale. Our room had a cosy spacious charm which overlooked a wonderful garden. We were greeted by Pauline who had a genuine chatty concern for our welfare providing a warm easy going conversations and to die for home baked cakes and excellent breakfast. The room was very well equipped with fridge goodies and self service amenities. A great stay...we are coming back. Thanks Pauline
