A 5 star B&B at 3 star prices. A BEAUTIFUL room in a new gorgeous home. Wonderful dinner which we ordered in advance. Every detail done with quality and class (almost over the top but we weren't arguing). The nightly rate was the same as other far less impressive B&B's. Luggage transfer to next town (we were on a hiking...

We stayed for just one night for my fiancées birthday and we were extremely happy with our stay. Lovely couple and beautiful house and garden. Fantastic home cooked food and brilliant hospitality. Very welcoming as we arrived after a day walking on Glyndwr's Way. Sue and John were very hospitable. Guests have a picture window lounge overlooking the lake in the foreground and the hills in the distance. There were close up views of jays and woodpeckers, with pheasants wandering back and forth across the lawn. The bedroom was spacious, light and...

We've just returned from a great overnight stay with Sue and John at Dolanog. We were met on arrival and our bags taken straight to our rooms for us. We then enjoyed a pot of tea sat overlooking the lovely view of the fishing pond and the lambs playing in the fields. Both rooms ( king size bed ensuite and...

We spent four nights here whilst doing Glyndwr's Way. This included dinner on each night. The food was excellent and there was a good choice of very reasonably priced wines and beers. The best cottage pie ever!! John and Sue were great hosts and the whole stay was really relaxing. We would not hesitate to go back.

I was booked in here by the office and they couldn't have picked better. The welcome was friendly, the room was spotless and very stylish, without being over the top, and free wifi. The owners were very accommodating as I was having to leave early in the mornings but breakfast was always available no matter what time. Bonus to this...
