I stayed one night in this lovely b&b with my boyfriend. Everything was impeccable, breakfast was exquisite, the atmosphere is cozy and warm, not to mention the lady who was really hospitable and caring. We enjoyed this place very much and I would definitely recommend it!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! Elizabeth and Jim are so friendly and it is clearly their mission that their guests have a perfect stay. She went out of her way to help us find the perfect place to eat dinner and even looked up where we could get a covid test in a different city. Their dog Charlie is just as friendly. Our room was clean and the bed was beyond comfortable. My favorite stay on our trip!

We had booked to stay here for one night. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond her control, Elizabeth was not able to accommodate us. However she went to a lot of trouble to find us an alternative B&B and she arranged for us to stay somewhere nearby.

Excellent! Couldn’t fault anything. Elizabeth & Jim are the best hosts and make you feel at home and nothing was too much trouble! Just returned from 4 nights staying here and can’t wait to go back. The breakfasts were amazing and rooms were spotless and very spacious and the beds were so comfy! Highly recommend 😊

Me and my fiancé stayed here for his birthday! We were going to the horse racing in Gowran! This was very convenient as it was so close to the race track! Elizabeth was so welcoming from the moment we arrived and made us feel very comfortable! She helped us with recommendations and even rang the taxi company for us to get a quote as we were going into Kilkenny for drinks! Jim was also very friendly and very kindly gave us a lift into town! Breakfast was lovely and Elizabeth’s home made bread is fab! Highly recommend this property! A lovely weekend!

We had a lovely stay with Elizabeth and Jim. Beautiful spot, minutes from Kilkenny town yet in the beautiful Kilkenny countryside. Great breakfast and excellent tips on activities and where to eat in Kilkenny. Also good directions as the sat-nav in our vehicle was not always reliable

Elizabeth greeted us at the door and knew exactly what we needed before we even knew. Hot cup of tea and comfortable bed. Our room was lovely overlooking a 350 cattle farm. Huge blessing that night with a complete rainbow over the house.🌈 we entered as strangers and left ass friends. Would recommend.

We recently spent two days at Kilbawn House. After three days in Dublin, the rural location of this lovely home was a welcome reprieve from the noisy city. The view from our window was lush green countryside....beautiful! Elizabeth was an excellent hostess, tour guide and chef. From the minute we entered her home she was ready to assist us in anyway she could. Suggestions for sightseeing, making inquiries and reservations for us, offering to wrap up food for snacks for the day....Elizabeth was funny, thoughtful and seemed to run her B and B to perfection. Did I mention her breakfasts? Delicious. Kilbawn is a few miles from Kilkenny, but perfectly located to visit sights in Kilkenny and surrounding cities.
