I stayed at the Manor for Business in Bicester. It is a lovely place with a historical touch. The food is good and service in the hotel is always very helpful. I would definitely come back to the hotel for a nice weekend and enjoy the English country site. The rooms are nice and romantic but might not be the...

This was a surprise birthday afternoon tea for our friend. The atmosphere was extremely nice and staff very helpful/friendly. Our friend (older lady) absolutely loved it! Additionally, we have also pre-arranged a home-made birthday cake (as per the attached picture) - vanilla with jam and vanilla buttercream (there is a selection of 3 types of cakes). The cake was stunning!...

I am afraid that I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone! We recently booked 3 superior king rooms at the manor for my parents anniversary. Two of the rooms were a decent size but unfortunately one was neither a king room nor superior. The bathroom was very small, the room was cold and the radiator did not work. We were...

My husband took me for afternoon tea and champagne for my birthday and we were really looking forward to the occasion, but ended up quite disappointed and not feeling very well either. The staff were nowhere to be seen during our visit, even though the dining room was quite full - we had to walk off out of the dining...

Beautiful building in need of maintenance, stayed in room 2 in the main building. Must be one of the smallest rooms we have ever stayed in. We arrived near to 9PM as I had advised. We were taken up to our room by a friendly lady. The curtains were still open and the room was rather chilly although the radiator...

Lovely hotel and setting. Room in the coach house which was faultless. The big let down was the food in the restaurant. If you are selling yourself as a luxury country house hotel you can't offer food that had clearly come pre prepared from Brake Brothers and reheated in the kitchen. Competition from local gastro pubs is far better and...

We came here to stay here a fortnight ago, Valentines weekend. We had a package with Secret Escapes which did not include the valentines meal as I had booked back in December. We received an email though asking if we should like the special V meal for a supplement which I declined as We were quite happy with what We...

I cannot comment on the rooms, main meals etc, as we were not staying at the hotel. The occasion was my wife's birthday and I had booked a table for 6 for afternoon tea. Unfortunately on the morning it transpired that 2 of the guests were unable to come due to illness, but the hotel dealt with the change easily...

Stayed here 1 night on a business trip, beautiful hotel, friendly staff. Had food in the bar which was lovely with attentive service. My room was large, traditional, cosy and warm with everything I needed. Just one downside was the huge fire in reception gave out so much smoke that by the time I left I had such a sore...
