We booked the Manor for my sons wedding reception in July 2017. The Manor is traditional old country house hotel. Beautiful surroundings and very laid back wedding reception. We had tea and cake on the terrace, relaxed in the garden and played croquet.

Walking through the door to the reception was lovely and everything I thought it would be but we were put in the annex. Totally underwhelming . For the price we were very disappointed. Average breakfast. Very meh!

A Secret Escapes deal made us feel like 2nd class customers. A slow reception left us not even acknowledged while another resident, without a booking, was dealt with at length. Taken to our room in the annex, tucked out of the way, it was spacious...More

We stayed in the Coachhouse and, apart from being away from the main building so you have to walk across the courtyard to get meals, we found it great. We had a normal room and it was fantastic, plenty of room etc.
