Though by no means luxury this was a really nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. We were pleasantly surprised to find our room was available ahead of check in time, in the morning. We received a warm welcome and information about things we could do, what's on offer. Our room was on the first floor corner and enjoyed...

We stopped at Augusta Bay for a late lunch prior to checking into the villa we rented. We ordered BBQ chicken, fish & chips, hamburger and a conch burger. The chicken dish came with very tasty mac & cheese & coke slaw. The service is cooked to order but is well worth the wait.

My brother and I spent a week at the Augusta Bay Hotel during the week of May 15-22, 2016. We agreed on this hotel because of the 34% discount offered by the travel company. We arrived at the Exuma International Airport after a 3.5 hour flight from Toronto. The arrival terminal is tiny by North American standard. There is no...

My husband and I are expecting and we wanted to go on a nice relaxing vacation before the bundle of joy came. At the time of our trip I was 5 months pregnant. We booked flight and hotel as a package and food would be separate. The hotel we stayed at had a restaurant in it as well there was...

I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that our "garden view" room was actually a very nice ocean view. Just had to step out on our porch. Small hotel - only 16 rooms. More like a B&B. Spacious room. Bathroom a tad small but shower is large. Looks newly remodeled. The staff was very friendly and helpful for the...

We only stayed because we couldn't get flights from Nassau to do our tip in a day and I'm glad we chose Augusta Bay. We were warmly welcomed and taken to our room which was very comfortable, spacious and opened right on to the pool area. We left early the next morning but enjoyed the breakfast. We stayed on a...

The Augusta Bay is a very well-run and beautifully located hotel. I have stayed there multiple times and each time it exceeds my expectations. Really nice beach within walking distance and the immediate kayaking area off the dock of the hotel makes a great morning workout. Definitely try the lasagna at the restaurant if its available and also the shrimp...

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and we were pleasantly surprised with every aspect of this place! From the breakfast and dinner to the view and the people, our expectations were FAR exceeded. If you're looking to be waited on hand and foot, this is not the place for you BUT if you're looking for a place...

Augusta Bay is a wonderful place to stay. I loved my room, the patio and view. What really made my stay great was the accommodating and helpful staff. Arlene at the front desk took care of all my needs. She made sure there was soymilk for my breakfast, suggested things to do and organized my transportation and even my massage....

We had an incredible time in Exuma and this is a great place from which to explore. You get a true sense of the Bahamas and can completely relax on secluded beaches nearby. This is a very quiet hotel (yes there is music on a weekend next door but we didn't hear this at all from our room which was...

Thank you for your kind words and observations. We will be doing a thorough makeover of the hotel (including the restaurant) at the end of the season and hopefully when you visit us again - you will be pleasantly surprised. Ian Wright (owner)
