Beautiful stay at this gorgeous place. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were clean and luxurious. Breakfast was efficient with lots of choice which was cooked to order. Sausages were lovely (locally produced) Highly recommended and extremely good value for money, considering the nearest hotel was a chain which probably doesn't offer any personal touches. We would definitely stay here...

Lovely friendly welcome. Tasty well kept beer, good honest tasty food with plenty of choice at reasonable prices, friendly staff and locals... leave room for a pudding! Incredible home made deserts. Will definitely go again

A really warm welcome from the husband and wife team. Good specials board, generous portions. Great local knowledge shared with we two visitors regarding what we should visit on our brief stay. Paid a return visit and were not disappointed.

Don't go to Somethings Cooking down the road, come here!! 4 adults and three children. All the meals were excellent. The pub was snug and very warm, perfect for a cold October night. The peppercorn fillet steak was the best meal I had that week in Wales!!! 7 clean plates and 7 clean pudding bowls says it all!!

Stayed on Monday night prior to catching the ferry. A very warm welcome and the room also was lovely and warm too which was great as we had driven through cloud and rain. Everything was immaculate and a very roomy shower room was an added bonus. Ate in the restaurant in the evening , a varied menu and we'll cooked...

Comfortable, well-appointed spacious room Excellent breakfast Restaurant meal fine. Wi-fi only in bar/restaurant which wasn't always accessible - see below. Hotel closes during the day so that there is no reception. There's a note on the door giving a 'phone number. However to rely upon all guests carrying a mobile 'phone is not just a false assumption, but rather a...
