Private Country House on a working farm. Attention to detail was exceptional. We stayed in Room 4 and it was just perfect with a very comfortable bed, lovely linen and a fabulous bathroom (the photos don't do it justice and it really has the wow factor on entering for the first time). The staff were friendly and welcoming and nothing...

Sumptuous serving of afternon in homely and luxurious surroundings. The variety of sandwiches and cakes was excellent and all the cakes were homemade and very tasty. Failed to eat them all and were given a bag to take the rest home. Well worth a visit.

Best afternoon tea, lovely lounge, excellent choice of food, checked for likes and dislikes when booking. Excellent service not intrusive but attentive. Would go back again and again, also good value for money.

We chose this hotel based on reviews on trip advisor. So glad we did! We stayed in the long house, a beautifully appointed barn conversion, large enough for a family of four, although there were only three of us! We ate in the restaurant the first evening we were there and the food was lovely. Plenty of choice and all...

We managed to arrange a visit to Crug Glas at short notice and we were looked after very well (the room was lovely, the owners were very helpful and accommodating and breakfast was fantastic...) We did not eat here in the evenings as we wanted to explore in the limited time we had available. We would like to stay again...

Crug-Glas is our 'FAVOURITE PLACE' to eat. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is second to none. The food is of the highest standard and well presented. Perkin and Janet have worked hard and continue to work hard to make every visit special.

My husband booked this as a surprise during our stay in the St David's area - it's worth knowing that you need to book the afternoon tea in advance as it is made especially for you - and you won't be disappointed. The property is beautiful and the tea is served in the drawing room in front of the fireplace....

On our first night in the area we came across Crug Glas. We had not made a reservation for the restaurant but the manager was very accommodating and we got a table with no notice. The food was very good and in fact, this evening set the benchmark for our stay. Unfortunately Blas nor Cwtch which we visited on subsequent...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Crug-Glas luxury country house is a mixed working farm of approximately 600 acres. We have dairy cows, beef and cereals and we consider ourselves to be a traditional family farm working alongside nature. We are about a mile inland from the coast and being so far west, situated on the end of St. Davids Peninsula, the sunsets in the evening are stunning. The sun going down behind Penberi rocks is absolutely breathtaking and has inspired many local artists. Crug-Glas has a great amount of history attached to it, in the 12th century the farm is mentioned in the Black Book of St. Davids. This book is an accurate account of many of the farms, manors and estates in the locality naming the owners and tenants of the time. Crug-Glas is reputed to have been one of the many seats (residences) of the Bishop of St. Davids. The farm remained in the hands of the Church for many centuries and it was eventually sold in the early 1900s. ... more   less
