The building had an interesting history - and now, after having been bought to the original owner family, it has been beautifully restored.

Everything was clean and tidy and the service very friendly.

The rooms were nice and comfortable, if not too large.

The restaurant was really beautifully decorated too. the food and service was also good, but the main thing for having had such a nice dinner experience was really the premises and the decoration of it.

Padise Manor is a beautiful, quiet place with a perfect location. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and spacious. The personnel there is excellent - very friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves delicious food, the breakfast is also very good - both served in a beautiful surrounding with relaxed atmosphere.

Okay, so Padise isn't but a short drive from
Tallinn and you may just be passing through. Change your itinerary! Stay one night here instead of Tallinn, or overnight here before continuing on to the islands. You'll be glad you did. An absolutely lovely boutique hotel filled with history and restored to its glorious past. I arrived wet and tired by bicycle and was treated like I had been chauffeured in. The rooms are unique, filled with antiques but fully updated and wonderful beds. The restaurant has a limited, eclectic menu, but everything is beautifully prepared. Breakfast is one of the best I've had-everything from herring and salmon to mixed meats, eggs, fresh fruits and a variety of breads and croissants. Karl von Ramm, descendant of the original owners, is an active, on-site manager, and it is clear he takes pride in ownership.
Just go!

We had our wedding in Padise, which also required us to stay there for two night. Would highly recommend for everyone who want to have a nice romantic getaway or plan a huge party. This place suits for both. Rooms are all a bit different, but lovely; the surroundings take your breath away and the nearby ruins are fun to climb on. Unless it´s few hours before your wedding. The bride will not like it.

It's been a year since our last visit to Padise, and it is now even better. Although it's still expanding as more rooms are renovated, it feels like it has grown into its skin. The grounds have matured, there is a new foyer and reception and newly opened rooms.
We had a deluxe room (Charlotte) this time. It is perched just above the lake and has been beautifully restored. The wallpaper is attractive, the carpet and soft furnishings luxurious and the period furniture and just enough exposed wood and brick remind you of the age of the place. A brand new superbly equipped bathroom is hidden away in a short hallway off the main room, and doesn't interfere with the period feel at all. There are now lounges equipped with soft sofas, huge TVs and state of the art coffee machines that are somehow not at all incongruous with the Downton Abbey feel of the place.
I love the enormous dining room at Padise that has been so carefully decorated to retain the feel of the original, and the service in the restaurant has been excellent on both occasions too. It's all part of the attention to detail that makes a short break at Padise Mois such a treat.

Although it is a little way removed from Tallinn, this former manor house is well worth the trip. There are just a few rooms leading to a boutique hotel sense of exclusivity, and the associated personal service at prices that even the non-gentry can afford. The adjacent monastery must have been mightily impressive in its day, and still offers a fascinating glimpse of another age.
We had a luxury room, that was huge and stuffed with period furniture and had beautiful exposed floorboards. The excellent quality bathroom had been tucked away and did not interfere with the 19th century ambience, even the TV was inconspicuous amidst the period wallpaper.
It is the quality of the decor throughout the hotel that struck my wife and I as we wondered around captivated by the many nooks and crannies. Some manor house hotels in Estonia are decorated in an overly ornate style as if country squires lived like Romanov princes, others have a thinly disguised corporate feel, whereas Padise has the feel of a genuine working house. The impression will be reinforced if you meet Karl von Ramm who will be delighted to tell you the history of his family's house in a range of languages, but you might not recognise the lord of the manor's descendant, because he could be carrying tables around or pouring your drink at the bar.
We ate duck and lamb for dinner, both of which were superb. The meals blend an haute cuisine style with proper portions and a basket of delicious bread. The wine list is quite limited by we were delighted with our bottle of Pinot Noir, which was very good value by restaurant standards.
Breakfast is capable of satisfying a range of European tastes from savouries to sweet, with a good range of fruit and also a hot food option prepared for each guest. The three members of staff we met during our stay were all absolutely charming.
We intend to make a visit to Padise a regular treat, and would urge anyone staying in Haapsalu, Pärnu or Tallinn to make the effort to visit.

We were invited to Padise Manor for a wedding and stayed the night, it was amazing. The grounds are breathtaking. The service is truly great.
The rooms are so adorably decorated, even the wallpaper is tasteful. You walk in this ancient building and expect to smell mould but everything is spotlessly clean and new. The bathroom looked brand new as well.
The beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The staff were just sooo nice and helpful.
It was an amazing experience.
I definitely recommend this lovely manor.

Stayed in a suite with a view to the Padise Monastery ruins. The suite was fantatic: well decorated and beautiful. Living in an old historical mansion (with all modern facilities) was like stepping back in time. Just loved it!
The staff was friendly. We stayed at the mansion in November and there was only one other couple having dinner at the same time as we did. Felt like having the big beautiful mansion just for the two of us.
The breakfast was also excellent.
Great place for a romantic weekend!

We stayed two nights here on our first ever visit to Estonia. It was an easy drive from the airport but because of delays there, we arrived too late for dinner. The receptionist found us some sandwiches and juice which were very welcome.
The hotel is on the edge of a forested area, opposite a monastery- very picturesque. The rooms were extremely comfortable with everything you could need. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and reasonable prices.
The staff all spoke excellent English, smiled at our minimal Estonian and couldn’t have been more helpful.
We would definitely recommend.

I felt that the manor was a great place for a couple for a romantic weekend. There is not that much to do for children. However, the Padise monastery ruins are next to the manor and children who are interested in history probably will find the ruins interesting. I think that this is not an ideal place to go with children but of course it depends on the children, their interests and on how long you plan to stay.
