Stayed in crocullia yurt, accessed via a garden and allotment greeted by butterflies! Then the views over ballymacosker and to Dunree is something else. Breathtaking. Hosts were so accommodating. Fresh eggs as promised. Met lovely people in the communal kitchen. All facilities available and very easy to cook and wash... Etc.

Me and my boyfriend booked to stay here last minute and could not fault this place in any way. Sean greeted us when we arrived and showed us to our yurt- we stayed in dunree . The yurt has everything you could possibly need, they have thought of everything here. We unfortunately were not able to barbecue because of the weather but the kitchen facilities on sight had everything we needed. The information booklets were great and gave us an insight to the area, we followed their recommendations and had the most beautiful breakfast the morning after. Facilities were spotless! We will definitely be back.

Wonderful location, amazing views from the yurt decking. Super comfy beds, sofa and fireplace. Both fire pit and small BBQ with supplied fuel makes for a lovely evening! Short walk to very well equipped and clean kitchen and sitting area, and pristine toilet/shower block too. Fab base for exploring the incredible WAW.

Fabulous stay, yurts set up in a beautiful location. The site itself is kept immaculate so clean , the shared toilets and kitchen are well kept. Fresh free range eggs available in the kitchen. The yurts again clean and well maintained. The beds are very comfortable and there is a picnic area outside the sit and enjoy the views.Even though we didn't need it the stove was already set for us and box of camp fire logs were available. Stayed in knockalla yurt , with beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding mountains . Great location for exploring Donegal's coast . Gala is located 2 mins away .

Perfect place to reset and get away from it all. The views, the birdsong, the peace and quiet was glorious. The bed was so cosy and the site has brilliant facilities. Helen and Sean are superb hosts, they went above and beyond to help us. The surrounding scenery is nothing short of breathtaking. All I want to do is go back :)

This is our 3rd visit here and it never disappoints. Fantastically laid out, beds comfy and cosy, plenty of fuel for the stove on a cool night. Kitchen and shower/toilet block very well equipped and immaculate. Helen and Sean are welcoming and friendly.

A most relaxed and chilled experience with breathtaking views at Portsalon Yurts !Only stayed one night but would highly recommend or return for a longer stay . Sean & Helen were lovely and very welcoming hosts !

Helen & Sean couldn't have done enough for us on our second stay with them in Portsalon. On our first stay in 2019 we were taken by the beauty of the landscape, the coziness of the yurt and the warm hospitality. With such fond memories we always wanted to return, and with the help of Helen & Sean (who went above and beyond with the smaller details) I was able to surprise my partner with the perfect proposal. This is such a special place and we are so grateful that we have now celebrated such a milestone here. We couldn't recommended this stay enough.

Just stayed the one night wish it was more, close to beach and golf club, relaxing state, lovely little wood burning stove and the facilities were immaculate as well as the hosts who couldn’t be more helpful
