This fine Country House is set in blissfully quiet valleys just outside Conwy in North Wales. We stayed in one of the cottages for five days and loved it. You look out across the valley when you come out the front door. The trees were changing colour as it was autumn and it was beautiful. So quiet. You have the... More

Coed Mawr Hall was built around 1810 and it is approached by a 3/4 -mile long private drive from the Conwy to Rowen road. It is situated on an elevated spot and commands a fine view of the valley below and the mountains beyond. Positioned centrally for the coast, countryside and the mountains, this is an excellent area for walking, mountain biking and bird watching. Lake, river and sea fishing are all available locally. Nearby you will find golf courses, treetop walking, dry ski slopes and horse riding. Those who would rather spend their holiday unwinding will enjoy the serenity of Coed Mawr's surroundings and can spend an afternoon taking in the views overlooking the Snowdonia National Park. The bed & breakfast rooms are perfect for groups of friends or couples on a romantic getaway, the cottages are popular with groups and families alike.
