Certificate of Excellence
Situated just outside the historic town of Conwy, Coed Mawr Hall was built around 1810 and it is approached by a 3/4 -mile long private drive. Beautifully positioned within an elevated spot, the house commands breath taking views of the valley below and the mountains beyond. The main house operates as a Boutique B&B and the cottages consist of three high quality self-catering cottages. Each cottage enjoys shared use of the delightful rear landscaped garden and its own secluded patio area. Positioned centrally for the coast, countryside and the mountains, this is an excellent area for walking, mountain biking and bird watching. Lake, river and sea fishing are all available locally. Nearby you will find golf courses, treetop walking, dry ski slopes, inland surfing and horse riding. Those who would rather spend their holiday unwinding will enjoy the serenity of Coed Mawr's surroundings and can spend an afternoon taking in the views overlooking the Snowdonia National Park. The bed & breakfast rooms are perfect for groups of friends or couples on a romantic getaway, the cottages are popular with groups and families alike.

Andrew & Beth are wonderful hosts. Coed Mawr is a beautiful, funky B&B in such a beautiful setting. Gorgeous comfy rooms. Breakfast was lush. Didn’t want to leave & can’t wait to find a reason to come back! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Such a beautiful place to stay, big luxurious room and bathroom. Delicious home cooked breakfast. Borrow the torches for the short walk to the lovely local pub where there’s the old boys singing welsh songs on a Friday night.

We fell in love with this place and wished we could have stayed longer. The rooms were lovely and had fantastic views. On top of that, we had perfect service. I lived the attention to detail, amazing place!! We look forward to visiting again.
