We returned here after many years to find Gary, a brilliant host as always. The Manor is beautiful, full of lovely antiques, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Surrounded by beautiful countryside I highly recommend a stay here. Thank you Gary for a wonderful break.

Enjoyed our stay in this lovely old house. Very comfortable bed. Good quality sheets. Plenty of hot water. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful views of the well kept garden. Set in an idyllic situation. Will recommend this place to our friends.

We stayed here for two nights in the suite with lounge. Whilst we found the overall stay ok, we did find that there were some things which needed attention. Firstly we noticed the windowsills in the room hadn't been dusted for some time, also the aerial wire from the radio hadn't been dusted either and there was a layer of...

Not very well signed from the main road, with no directions at a T junction. Very nice greeting from the Owner who showed to our lovely room - as others have noted the bed was excellent, and our room clean and tidy. I was not able to connect my elderly laptop to the wi fi, even though it was detected...

I really can't say enough good things about our experience here. First of all: most comfortable beds in Britain. This was the best sleep I got during our whole 3-week driving tour of the island. Secondly, the house is beautiful with a lovely garden looking out on Snowdonia National Park. The owner of the place was tremendously gracious and knowledgeable...

Ok the Gwern Borter may be a little dated but it more than made up for it in other ways. It is a beautiful house in a lovely quiet relaxing situation. Gary the owner does a wonderful job running this B&B almost single handed. He has loads of suggestions on places to eat and places to go. The room that...

The hotel is full of atmosphere. The four poster bed room is very special, stunning view from the window looking up to green rolling hills. The cooked breakfast was five star and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back in the future!
