Nice Resort, but is now showing its age. This is our third stay here over a period of 8 years. Facilities need upgrading. We stayed in the Barrington Building ( 2-bed apartment) and one of the lifts was not working. For the money they charge to stay, this is not acceptable. Room was relatively clean, again starting to show its...

This was my 4th visit to the resort and my family was looking forward to another wonderful break as the location offers everything from the beautiful bay to lovely restaurants....HOWEVER I was disappointed in the upkeep of the hotel and considering the amount you pay per night (even with a voucher) it just didn't add up for value for money....

We booked for 2 days with intentions to use spa facilities as mentioned online w available treatments and prices etc. Upon check in we were notified that the spa was not available and had closed due to bankruptcy. The staff gave us the name of another Spa nearby but didn't have their number or offer any vouchers to apologize for...

This was everything we were wanting and more. The service was polite, friendly and professional. The room was spacious, airy and pristine. The view was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

We've stay here many times before because of the range of waterfront accommodation & it's location. We were regulars over when it was called the Shoal Bay Resort & Spa. Since it became Ramada we've stayed here twice. On both occasions we were given the wrong room type (a waterfront room means a waterfront room). Other things like insufficient bedding...

I was unhappy with the place and felt I paid too much for what was on offer. The overall cleaning was very poor with the corridors and lifts dirty. The room was fine but expensive. You have to go to reception to get replacement towels which should be done in the rooms by staff. Overall, I would not recommend this...

We've stayed at this hotel on a few occasions now, and really enjoy the serenity of it all. Location is great for doing some walking (good walking trails), and we also hired bikes, for a ride to Soldiers Point & return (although the bikes were a bit 'tired'). Some good local restaurants. The hotel probably gets busy through school holidays...

Arrived, no water views and we were to be put out the back, needed to walk upstairs with luggage so I paid extra $60p/n for a side view & lift, I was struggling just to walk to reception desk with bad back. Room good size, furniture basic. Bathroom corner spa/shower, sprays out all over the floor, hence put towels on...

Location is great but our apartment did not have working aircon - which they clearly knew about since they'd had put fans in our rooms before we got there (not in other apartments). Despite asking about it several times no effort was made to fix aircon, they only offered to swap us into another building away from rest of our...
