Lovely host, clean room, central location and great wifi. We were met by the lovely owner, shown to the secure car park and given a choice of rooms. She then gave us great information and told us about offering food for the monks in the morning. I would recommend getting to Chiang Khan later in the afternoon as nothing opens till 5 or 6pm.
Was attracted by the difference theme for each room, and the cosy photo shown. We stay 4 nights here. The hotel provide a lock carpark a stone throw away, is secure and convenient. The Chiang Kang walking street / night market is right in front of the door step. And is not at either end of center of the walking street. It made it very convenient to shop, walk and find food along this street. Mekong River is just behind the opposite row of house, which can have a direct view if climb up to the roof top balcony. They provide free bicycle for guest, and my kids love it. Morning can have a run along the river side, and also do contribution to monk along the street.
Hotel is situated in Main Street that runs parallel to Mekong. Rooms was quite big with quirky decor, bathroom small. Good TV and WiFi. As with most hotels shower needed coaxing to right temp. Helpful and courteous staff. Breakfast was very good; prepared to order and served in coffee/snack bar at front of property which is very popular throughout the day. Recommended
This small hotel can feel slightly cramped at times (especially our room) but it is obviously well loved by the owners who have stamped their style all over it. It is very well located pretty much in the centre of things on Chai Khong Road (the walking street). The staff were friendly and easy going. Our room, reached by a very steep flight of stairs, had good air-con, a decent shower/wetroom and a nice (for us) firm bed. The room design, in pink, was quite Barbie but clean and comfy. Breakfast was simple but adequate and the coffee was good. This hotel has secure parking (which we needed) a few metres away. We will long remember Loei Love - what more can you say?
It's a very simple hotell. It should be called a guesthouse. The room was small without windows. And the bsthroom very small. Otherwise ok. The staff is friendly and helpfull but doesn't speak english. For me that's not a problem but maybe others don't like it. Breakfast is simple but rather tasty. Either jok porridge or Kai Ka Ta... that's like an omelette. And coffee with toast. Location is perfect.
the g/h is on the "shoping /wallking "street very good location easy walk to 7/11 to banks meny restorants near by the small night market is close perffectly clean good hot shwoer the owner (?) speeks very god english very helpful english is not common in this town
They could speak very good English and very helpful! We really appreciated since they helped us arrange the pick up to the airport. The room was cute and clean, and the balcony was awesome! You can see the Mekong River and the Main Street, as if you have a private balcony.
