ช่วงเทศกาลหยุดยาวปีใหม่ไปพักผ่อนรับลมหนาว ณ เชียงคาน จังหวัดเลย ประสบปัญหาที่พักหายาก สุดท้ายขอแค่อะไรก็ได้ใช้นอนและอาบน้ำพอ ได้ห้องที่โรงแรมบ้านเฮา 2 ตั้งอยู่ในซอย 5 ถนนศรีเชียงคาน ค่าเสียหายคืนละ 500 กว่าบาท ลักษณะเป็น homestay เอาบ้านมากั้นห้องแบ่งให้ค้างคืนเหมือนอยู่บ้าน ผมจองห้อง deluxe มีแอร์และห้องน้ำในตัว (ห้อง standard ใช้ห้องน้ำรวม) กว้างประมาณ 16 ตารางเมตร ความสะอาดอยู่ในเกณฑ์ดี ถ้าไม่ติดหัวสูงต้องนอนเฉพาะโรงแรมไฮไซก็พอใช้ได้ ติตรงผนังห้องเป็นไม้ไม่ค่อยเก็บเสียงเท่าที่ควร ถ้าเป็นคนง่าย ๆ ไม่เรื่องมาก บ้านเฮา 2 จัดเป็นที่พักประหยัดตังค์ในกระเป๋าใช้แก้ขัดซุกหัวนอนได้เป็นอย่างดี

Ban Hao 2 is just down soi 5 behind the original ban hao on the main rd. The owner was no where to be found when we arrived mid day, but another guest called and she showed up quickly, apologizing for the wait. Nice size room with ac, fast wifi, free coffee tea and water, hot shower in shared bath, and a few areas to sit inside and outside. Free use of newer bikes with baskets, and free fruit. Possibly the cheapest rooms in town since most of the hotels are along the riverfront. However this hotel is just one block from the river and walking street. There is a local restaurant directly across the soi which was just ok, and X1 coffee shop which we did not try but looked promising.
