We spent 2 nights in this hotel, it next to the Mae Khong River. The atmosphere was okay, not too cold and not too hot. But the room is quite small, this hotel maybe belongs to solo or couple trip. There is no breakfast at the hotel but you can get the coupon for the breakfast at the restaurant where opposite the hotel. It was the local food of Chiangkhan called ”Khao Peak Sen” that is similar to noodle, the taste is good. Especially, it was on the night market that you can visit them in the evening. You can rent or take a bicycle or scooter to visit around the night market, but be careful with the people because on the weekday there are many people wall around. However, if you want to get the trip here. I recommend you to take a taxi or rent a car here. Because the community is quite small and there is car parking in some of the hotel or guest house. Otherwise, you have to park in the temple area that’s for irregular customers.…
Walk up hotel, no lift - my room at 4th Floor. Room Clean but not big, coffee making at Lobby. Hotel location few minutes walking to nite baazar walking street Chiangkhan is a slow going town, offering to monks starts around 6am at nite bazaar walking street. Nice experience.
This newer hotel is nice to look at, and if your budget can work it, the big rooms with river view would be great. But the other rooms were dark, small. Very clean and modern though, and desk clerks were very friendly also. So many other alternatives in Chiang Khan.
2500 baht for a room no river view. Room so small no were to hang anything ,then breakfast at a different location and very basic no fruit butter or milk, so you can’t even have drink at the back of the hotel looking at the river. Paul
We stayed there for 2 nights. Hotel is nice, there's clearly an effort on the setting. Rooms however are pretty small, even when booking one of their higher standards. Quite clean and perfectly located on the main road. Staff is nice. No breakfast but you can easily find a spot on the river in one of the nearby coffee shops. Not sure if I would recommended immediately as it seemed there were some pretty good looking B&Bs down the road facing the river (not sure about the prices though).
