I was there to celebrate my birthday with my family. I made the booking like 30 mins before I arrived so only 1st-floor rooms were available. I recommend you to book the 2nd-floor so you can enjoy a higher view. The room space was a little bit small as it was made of the shipping container but what I like about this hotel was that the minibar items were free! and you can take away. The breakfast was good. There was one local food looks like noodles. I could not remember the name. You should try once you are in this province. if you would like to have a small dinner party outside the room, there is a space near the river with a cold wind. the staff will bring you like dishes, spoons, glasses and anything else that you need. But make sure that you won't make any loud noise to disturb any other guests. By the way, the owner is very kind. Thanks to him. My dad enjoyed sitting outside very much.…

It was new to me, I was want to try it , and so much cheeper then in town. i had fun, you have to try it , it was come with breakfast so that was good , right on the river so you have a good view to, but it's about 10 km's out of town so you need a car .

One of the strangest hotels I've stayed in. The rooms are made out of converted shipping containers. Whilst you would think this wouldn't work in Thailand because of the heat, the air conditioner is very efficient. On the down side the rooms are very small. The breakfast is very basic and the price is not particularly cheap. Also there isn't a restaurant and the nearest place to eat is in Chiang Khan which is about 8 miles away. However even given the negatives one thing makes it all worthwhile and that is the view across the Mekong River which is absolutely stunning.

Stayed for 2 nights at this cute hotel. Comfortable but small, basic accommodations. A nice view of the Mekong river. Not much to do in the general area, had to drive a bit to find restaurants and bars. The idea of sleeping in a shipping container was just too much fun!!!!
