For all the guests, they serve high quality green tea with simple snacks which are green tea products and they were very good. To try these, you need to go to a kind of cave(the host said he digged the cave on his own for 6 years) and it was right across the reservation office. it has very nice view...

Not good value for money. Despite a good welcoming from owner, and charming pension style, rooms are quite rustic... no bed sheets, no towels, very Korean oriented. Besides we paid for family room, as it was the last choice available, but upon arrival we've been allocated to a double room, which was suitable for both of us, just that the...

There were a few cons about this place, and the first was that they didn't speak English at all. On top of that, there was no WiFi anywhere except for the cave, which was difficult to go to every time we had a question and needed to use Google Translate. We chose this place because booking.com showed there were only...

Boseong is quite a local area and we felt glad that the staff at Golmangtae was able to converse in English. The layout of the room was simple but it had the essential items and heated flooring, which was important in cool weather. We also had a sumptuous Korean BBQ dinner while we were there. The Pension is perched on...

We thought this place looked like a lovely place from which to explore the green tea region of South Korea and changed our travel plans around specially to get a room for the night as it was sold out for most of the week. The decor of the cabins was poor and looked like it hadn't had a makeover since...

Yes, quirky, and yes, the tea plantation views are a fiction (although the real ones of gardens and rice paddies are excellent anyway), but this place is a gem. It was so nice to be away from the cities and enjoy true Korean hospitality. They seemed a little unwelcoming initially, but come dinner time, the owners were giggling and laughing...

This pension has such a great view and is very comfortable and clean. A 5 minute taxi ride from Boseong bus terminal another 5-10 minute taxi ride to the green tea plantation. Buses are also available. The owner is very sweet and tries hard to communicate and accommodate. Breakfast and dinner are available. I think Golmangtae is slightly overpriced but...

I really enjoyed my single-night stay at Golmangtae while on a weekend trip to Boseong. Access was easy.. even with my non-existent Korean I was able to get an (affordable) taxi to take me there. The whole setting is lovely, stucco cottages atop a hillside overlooking tea fields in the valleys. Room had both a bed (with admittedly loud bed-linen)...

It's location is clearly a plus and all houses have got a panoramic view over the valley. Golmangtae is located in the middle of nowhere half way between the bus station and the tea museum. In my opinion it is overpriced and the owner was not very friendly. They serve dinner in a shed which makes it a bit like...

I really enjoy this place. The views were splendid, it was just a stone's throw away from the green tea plantation and very near a bus stop which takes you into the town of Boseong one way and to the green tea plantation the other way. The owner is very hospitable and welcomed me and other guests with complimentary tea...
