Not an enjoyable experience this time sadly due to the attitude of locals towards visitors which is a shame as it is doing damage to this pub. l loved the barman who was very cheerful though and brightened up the place.

I can't recommend this pub highly enough. The food is delicious, especially pheasant stew on a cold winter's night and the best roast turkey I have ever eaten, and the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming.
