Carmey Avdat was a real discovery in a great location. We had one of the upper cabins which are done with a lot of care and great ideas - a real home in the middle of the desert. A part from being very cosy inside they have a great terrace with hammock and various sitting options. We loved the fact...

This was a special treat. This local winery has a few small cabins for people to stay in. Some of them have pebbles for the floor! The bathroom was tiny, but functional. Breakfasts were huge, and delivered in baskets to your doorstep each morning. There's enough there for a lunch, too! There is a small kitchen with all the basic...

Carmey Avdat was great. The staff was kind, and willing to wait up for us even though we arrived very late and after-hours. We felt very at home in the space, and everything was extremely comfortable and exactly as advertised and expected. The breakfast was better than expected -- it was thoughtfully packed and delivered to our rooms, so we...

In this non-stop world, this is a very unique spot to attempt to power down. The cabins have no WiFi or televisions. Instead, you are greeted with unmatched hospitality, raw nature and the brightest stars in the dark desert sky. If you are lucky, you get your dose of the 21st century with F16s practicing take offs and landings. Highly...

What a wonderful way to spend a couple of days in the desert! As you drive through the vineyards towards the main farm, you already begin to feel the wonder of this place. The cabins are quaint, lovely and comfortable and the staff warm and helpful. We wondered around the farm on the first night and saw the most amazing...

What a treat! We truly didn't know what to expect, because the photos don't do it justice. But when we arrived, we were in heaven. Driving through the vineyards to get there, we were warmly greeted and escorted, through a path filled with bursting pomegranate and fig trees, to our first rate cabin - spacious, well equipped (including a beautiful...

This gem of a winery, founded by Eyal Izrael, is an ecological wonder that produces amazing wine as well as jams and other treats. Eyal took us on a private tour of the winery and shared his philosophy about why he started the winery and how he chose to build it - following the same approach and principles described in...

Location is very special and isolated with the combination of Wine, Desert beauty, Antiquity and great fascility. The place allows special vacation with quiet atmosphere and an experience of an aurthentic desert dwelling.

Even though the owners knew we were a party of three generations no one told us that the cabins were difficult and dangerous to climb up,especially carrying your own luggage a long distance from where they drop you off. The steps up to the cabins were slippery rocks. Not appropriate for grandparents or young children. The owner measured the pools...
