We had a great stay at Nuarro, very special to go to Memba as this place is kind of magical, so worth going after the 2 hours drive from Nacala (make sure you go on a 4x4 but road is also interesting). The staff is very friendly and helpful, the food was very good (they even tried to get soya...

Dear Graça, Thank you so much for your kind review. It was lovely to have you here and a pleasure to take your cousin for a dive, it fills our heart when people come out from the water with happy eyes and the turtle was kind with us as well. I hope you come here to do the course soon....

We had 5 nights here just before Christmas (leaving on Christmas Day) and were initially the only guests. We hadn’t been sure what to expect, having only previously visited islands in Mozambique. The idea of seeing some of the countryside on the way here from Nampula airport and afterwards on the way to Pemba seemed like a good one. In...

Thank you for your honest review, we really appreciate it. It was a pleasure to have you here with us, shame that the weather was not the best, but I am glad that at least you got to see some interesting fish you haven't seen before. We are looking forward to see the fish list. I will tell Amisse (the...

Nuarro really is a beautiful stretch of coast. The Memba area was one of the highlights of our time in Mozambique in large part because of the few days that we spent kicked back in the shade, snorkeling off the beach, napping, and reading. Thomas, Jana, Jon, and Comex made us feel right at home and they all (other than...

We had such a fantastic stay at Nuarro lodge that we decided to extend an extra two days. Truly isolated on the northern coast, the beaches are postcard perfect. The snorkeling (just a few hundred meters from the shore) was some of the best I'd done in Africa. Thomas and Jana were incredible hosts and went out of their way...

Stunning location situated right on the beach, the panoramic views out to the ocean (with humpbacks often making an appearance) were quite something. Loved the traditional African buildings, the chalets were immaculate but still felt natural and eco friendly, and the 3-course dinners laid on each evening at the restaurant were incredible! Always staff on hand to help out with...

During a long trip in the south of Africa we have been also in Mozambique at Nuarro Lodge. A true heaven! Breathtaking Indian Ocean, 3 km of beach that you can enjoy all alone because the lodge has only 12 chalets and so the guests are few. Excellent service. The 2 managers, Isabel and Yannick are professional and friendly like...

We stayed at Nuaro for the last week in July.
