The hotel is a sort of traditional hotel with very small rooms and limited facilities. The hotel staff is good and provided good service and very helpful. The only problem is the bells that would not allow you to sleep.

Used this hotel over a number of months for a project in Switzerland. Located in village of Muttenz close to restaurants and public transport. Staff very welcoming and always very helpful. Not everyones cup of tea but I like it a lot and recomend to anyone wanting an inexpensive hotel just to sleep.

this hotel was very well appointed, service was excellent. Our only quibble was the church bells which rang every quarter hour throughout the day and night. our room was front facing which made it worse. Altogether a lovely stay tho.

The ambiance is more like a dorm room or a hostel, rather than a hotel. If there's just one word to use, it'd be "functional". A small bed, a small TV, small room, small closet, small bathroom, but all in good working condition. There isn't an iron/iron board in the room, nor is there was A/C in the room and...

Just stayed one night and only had an interface with the receptionist and the woman at the breakfast buffet: Both very helpful, professional and with a pleasant, refreshing smile. Were given a double room which was huge, comfortable but not luxurious. Breakfast buffet was fine! WIFI access code was suggested spontaneously at check-in!

Like everything in Switzerland, our double room was expensive for its size, but clean. Muttenz, now a suburb of Basel, is a renovated village (barns have become stores and cow troughs have been converted to fountains), . It is close to the tram (no. 14) for a quick trip to the city, but you will need coins to buy tickets...

The hotel itself is set in a very nice suburben village 9 km from Basel, take a little walk out of the village an you're...
