This hotel is beautifully located in the vinery region above Lake Geneva. From high above you have the most stunning, spectacular and panoramic view you can imagine - if you have booked a room with a balcony. Do so! This view is most certainly the hotel's best asset. Apart from that I would rate Le Baron Tavernier as quite good,... More

Having booked for a week stay, having read good reviews online, when we arrived we could not even park it took 20 minutes until a member of staff moved his van, it has a very busy restaurant which takes over the hotel, also a busy road bisects the accommodation, hotel guests are secondary, we could not move on quick enough,... We had only one night in this hotel and we didn't want to leave. Incredible view from the balcony to the lake and vineyards. One of the beautiful views we ever seen. The room was not so big but comfortable. Very romantic place. It was some birthday party in restaurant that in front of 11p.m., take in consideration during booking... More

Lies at a wonderful location in between the vineyards. The modern decorated restaurant knows what they are doing and they do it right. Very nice menu and the food is well prepared and very tasty. I would certainly come back!

My husband and I stayed just two nights but we wish we could have stayed longer. The entire staff was very nice and friendly and spoke English. Our room (#36) was large and clean and had an amazing view. There were two sinks in the bathroom and the shower was a decent size, however, the shower curtain was a bit... More

The actual location is breathtaking. One of the most beautiful places I've ever visited. We found a few issues though. Eating options - The hotel doesn't have it's in house restaurant or room service. The only option is a very expensive restaurant across the road. So no light meal option. The town itself has only a handful of restaurants and... More

We enjoyed our stay in a small comfortable room overlooking the lake. ( See the picture) The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a lounge deck and restaurant overlooking the vineyards and lake that is delightful for sundowners. We would definitely visit again.

When i booked for dinner, nobody told me the actual restaurant was closed for the summer and it was just the summer restaurant that was open. Bit surprised when we arrived. but thought it was ok as the view was supposed to be a nice from the deck. It proved that it was really a summer holiday solution for the... More

Such a treat. The sight is amazing, the bar is exceptional. The food is awesome. Highly recommend the Soupe de Poisson. The chef is from Brittany and is able to combine and mix salted and fresh water fishes. Must go place!! If only for a drink, you have to go!!
