From time to time we are taking an overnight stay at Muottas Muragl. Dinner is always superbe, top provided service and breath taking view. The customer orientation of the whole hotel team is exceptionell. Thanks again for making our stay a longtime memory
We loved the property and services provided at this hotel. The rooms were clean, and quite. The beds were comfortable too. I would really recommend this hotel for mountain lovers. It has beautiful resturant with excellent view of nature.
This hotel is an amazing experience by itself. Sunrise and Sunset from your room window or hiking about are not to be missed. It is a bit "remote" from towns.... You have to tram and taxi. It isn't as full service as one may expect. They have limited number of guests, so are not fully staffed for the restaurants-shop to be open 24/7. Keep an eye on opening and closing times as well as the Tram hours of operations.
Went there for 25th wedding anniversary trip, it was booked as it’s not far from the st moritz end of the glacier express and you can also pick up the Bernina express a short bus ride away. The hotel has stunning views and the restaurant and breakfast was the best we had on the trip. It’s not cheap but neither is anywhere in Switzerland so for something special I would recommend it.
We stayed only two nights, as it is rather expensive, but hard to pass by the opportunity to stay! The hotel itself is small and well-appointed, service is wonderful and very attentive. Room as very small but again, well appointed. Shower pressure and heat are great, service was great, beds comfortable, and big window you can open and get all the fresh air. Beautiful art pieces along trails provide interest, although the views are wonderful on their own. We purchased a funicular pass that came with our selected room, and it gave us free access to the lifts, funicular, and all the local buses as well, which was super easy! We did ask for laundry service, though, and while well done, it was $225 to wash one large load of my teenage daughter’s clothes, so I recommend doing it before you come or after. Grace was the hostess and very accommodating and extremely helpful. Food was wonderful, and service was as well. Would love to return with my mother!…
The views and ambience of this property can’t be surpassed. Excellent cuisine and service coupled with the views provide for an unforgettable experience and the location makes an excellent base for exploring the Engadin region.
Outstanding place in the mountains, even in Switzerland executional! Perfect service, high standard, simple rooms built with local materials. The Terrasse in the the Junior Suite is worth to book this room! The candle light dinner was very good and the wine cellar can fulfill every wish.
Our first time in Switzerland and we can not wait to go back. We splurged and got a Mountain View room with a private terrace and so glad we did. We walked out there all the time and soaked in the views. The hotel is at 7500 feet. Just amazing views that are literally out of this world. We started our visit with beers and apps on their outside terrace. We did incredible hikes during the day- one to a glacier that was like a “walking museum” documenting how the glacier has receded over time. (Scary too) and the best hike was the panorama hike across the mountain to a chair lift down the mountain. We ate dinner twice at the hotel and it was very, very good and the service was top notch- helping with menu selections and wine. Two nights we are at a small chalet “alps Muottas “ that was a small chalet serving beer/wine/coffee and some cold platters and fondue. The whole experience at this hotel was just plain memorable.…
This hotel must have the best views of any Engadiner hotel, simply stunning! And whilst being perched on a mountain top, it is still perfectly accessible via the furnicular that goes right into the hotel building, offering a pleasant ascent/descent during which you might spot some alpine marmots if you’re lucky! The staff are all extremely friendly and forthcoming, without being overly fussy. Lunch on the terrace is delightful, just watch out so you save some space for dinner as it’s also delicious! Whilst the hotel has retained an alpine style in what must have been a recent refurbishment, it is very bright, modern and stylish. It was the first stay for us but definitely not the last!
We truly enjoyed our stay at Muottas Muragl Romantic hotel, the view, the hospitality, the quality of the rooms and of the dinner, and last but not least the personnel easy going and professional attitude that made our stay absolutely unique!
