So happy we chose to stay in Samedin at the Hotel Bernina, we received such a lovely welcome when we arrived. Firstly, we were given a room upgrade for no other reason than they had the room available. On arrival the receptionist went into great detail on what there was available to do, and how to make the most of...

We enjoyed the very helpful and friendly Francesca at the front desk and the outstanding waiter, barman, Stefano. Our room was very well appointed. The only improvement would be better lamps for reading at the bedside. Breakfast in the elegant dining room was all we could ask for and we had good Italian food in the restaurant.. The hotel shuttle...

Young ladies working Francesca and others were very nice and accommodating. We were there for one night May 31st. The hotel is literally a walking distance from the train but they did send a shuttle to pick us up. There is an Italian restaurant in the hotel but was kind of pricy. I guess most of the places around there...

This is a lovely hotel after we asked to swap rooms as the first room was definitely not their best. The tap was tapped up with black tape, the sofa bed was missing from the room, my husband thankfully complained and we were given a much better room. The second room had a lovely view and everything we needed. I...

The hotel was very nice. Rooms are older but very clean and charming. The elevator is very old but a great throwback to another era. The rooms were nice sized, especially for european hotels. The bathrooms are very large. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The only problem was that I went for a walk early (4:30 a.m.) and...

We had an upgraded room, 303, which was lovely. Breakfast was fabulous, the servers are charming and the food is varied and plentiful. Great espresso! The hotel is a short but uphill walk from the train station. You can ask for a hotel shuttle, which we did due to rain. Good location to escape the prices of St Moritz, but...

Very nice, very friendly and professional hotel. good restaurant, the prices a bit high, such as mineral water for Italians standards, but in line with others in Austria Mountain hotels found. Anyway I hope to return.

The Bernina is an historic hotel (1865) with great bones that is kept in excellent condition. It is located some kilometers outside St Moritz. There are lifts and trails locally, but that was not on our itinerary so I have no personal experience there. We visited in mid April, which turns out to be (very) low season. Visitors are few...

Amazing views, especially from the beautiful breakfast room. Ideally located for easy access into St Moritz. Great jacuzzi baths and good size rooms. Pizza restaurant downstairs has fabulous pizzas too! Definitely one of my favourite Swiss hotels to stay in
