If you are in the St. Moritz area, consider staying in Pontresina. It's more low-key but very charming and 10 minutes by bus or train from St. Moritz. The Allegra is a very friendly and well run hotel right on the main street. The rooms are large and modern with contemporary furniture and bathrooms. You can get a mountain view... More

Skip St. Moritz and stay in the Allegra Hotel in Pontresina. The rooms are very comfortable with great closet space. The staff could not be friendlier. Even the woman in the breakfast spoke to us like a friend. The spa was an added treat. My only complaint is the guest laundry requires you to use their detergent and I would... More

The Allegro is very modern and beautiful with wood floors in the rooms and large windows. Our room faced the mountain and we had a great view of the chair lift. The room was sparsely decorated in a cool way.... Think Danish modern. As the seating in the room was not the most comfortable, we enjoyed our "down" time in... More

We spent a week here in August 2016 as part of a tour of the Engadine. The hotel is well situated on the Via Maistra, the main street of Pontresina, and close to shops and restaurants. We had a twin bedded room on the third floor overlooking the rear of the hotel near the base station of the chair lift... More

We spent 3 nights at Hotel Allegra, it was a great location, comfortable, breakfast was great. Most of all the staff and management were fantastic and very helpful. Would definitely stay there again. Also a good deal staying over 2 nights you get a travelcard for all trains and chairlifts.

We spent two nights at Hotel Allegra. We were fortunate to get a corner room with a view that was spacious and very comfortable. The front desk staff was very helpful in providing suggestions for hikes to take and the hotel was located within very easy walking distance of several nice restaurants. There is limited parking but we reserved a... More

Centrally located hotel in Pontresina. The best thing about this hotel was the direct underground connection to the Bellavita spa and baths, which our kids loved, and the entrance fee was included with the stay. Unfortunately the restaurant only serves breakfast so we always had to go out for dinner (would have been more convenient with young children than having... More

We stayed here over Easter and had a great time. We had a wonderful view over Pontresina and valley from our comfortable room. The room was large, clean and had everything you needed (including robes and slippers for the Baths).
