The experience at Saratz is always fabulous. We are a family with one kid and we visit often the Hotel , which is very comfortable and family friendly. The room is spacious, clean, comfortable and beautiful with a wonderful view of the mountain landscape. In the room they have an awesome cosmetic line of shampoo, conditioner, soap and cream which has a very good fragrance and good quality. They also have beverage like coffee and some soft drinks included. The service is very kind and caring. The breakfast buffet has a very wide range of options, and everything is very delicious and of great quality. The wellness area is beautiful , clean and very relaxing and they have many massages and therapies options. The indoor swimming pool is great during the winter, as well as the outdoor pool area which is not only extremely gorgeous next to nature but also relaxing. The kids area at the Spielparadies is also very spacious with many toys and activities everyday the whole day, and they also have a variety of outdoor activities on the schedule. The Staff at the Spielparadies are great, super kind and very caring. The kids always have loads of fun. The hotel also has a huge outdoor area with mini golf, chess, Tipi tent for kids and many other attractions . the experience as a whole is always incredibly excellent. I can for sure recommend. The hotel is incredibly wonderful and well worth a visit.…
the corner suite on the left hand side has by far the most outstanding mountain views. It's nothing short of elating to enjoy the views in the mornings. Overall the skiing holidays in this Hotel have been most enjoyable. The half board arrangement was great and so the overall service. We will be back for sure
We enjoyed a 10 day stay during summer 2021 in this pleasant hotel. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, the facilities like the indoor and outdoor pools are of a good standard. Service was always outstanding. The hotel managers represent the owner-family in such a pleasant and approachable way, which gives the service a very nice personal touch. The interior is a mix of modern and traditional elements - combined with the long history, this Pontresina institution has a lot of charm. Our children aged around 10, enjoyed it too, we have planned to return in summer 2022.
This was our first, but probably also last time. Meanwhile childcare nany, housekeeping and drivers are very professional and service oriented, restaurant staff is not. We had a few issues: My mother ate something (probably a sashimi that was off and was throwing up all night, i informed management and reception in the morning and asked if they could bring her a coke to the room (they charged 10.-!!! for it). She obviously skipped breakfast. I had previously asked for vegan food choices and was assured there would be. Breakfast was not vegan friendly at all, neither was dinner, i ended up eating tasteless kids meals. They told me to go to the vegetarian restaurant (giodi), which we did for the rest if our stay. The tall german waiter at the bar is extremely rude and oly interested in keeping his regular guests satisfied. Because of all of this, and many small other things we won’t be back…
generally i really liked the hotel. the vibe in the lobby is amazing and extremely cozy but still sophisticated. The food is astonishing. The rooms are very simple though and (except for the bathrooms) lacking elegance though. The whole design of the rooms has a bit of a cheap feel to it. the spa is also great but you have to walk to get there for a bit and it gets quite cold
My husband and I spent two nights at the Hotel Saratz. The hotel boasts fantastic views over the eastern Alps and the Pitz Bernina. Facilities at the hotel are top notch as are the reception and restaurant personnel. The only slight disappointment was the quality of the dinner at the restaurant of Hotel Saratz. Although the dishes were served promptly they lacked in sophistication for a venue of this calibre and pricing.
Given that everything in Switzerland is expensive, this was more expensive (dinner CHF75 per head), however if you can afford it the breakfast is great, the view, spa and Gym wonderful. Bar service was a bit slow.
We came back to Saratz after 7 years. This time as a family with 2 kids. Maria from reception was wonderful and helped us to find the best rooms and solution, and she made sure that our holiday will be perfect. I would gentle recommend to the manager of hotel to make sure that they keep hotel Saratz at a high standard as used to be! Tips for room: choose always Ella Tuff rooms as they are in the new building are really 4 star superior! Also as a recommendation: all the wonderful amenities are gone and replaced by more eco friendly things, however the conditioner for hair it is a need. We return to this hotel because we loved the atmosphere and the service. Maria, thank you for being so supportive and efficient!
The hotel was excellent as always, with great breakfast and service. The room (south-facing) had amazing views of the Roseg Glacier. The valet parking service was very convenient. The hotel is located less than a ten-minute drive from the Celerina-Marguns gondola.Ski passes can be purchased at the front desk.
We stayed at the new section during Christmas 2019. Although the furnishing was outdated, yet the space the views and the services were great! The breakfast excellent and the Christmas Gala superb !!!! They were very responding to any help service or advice we asked for. The SPA very very good. I totally recommend it!!!!
