If you're looking for a family-run, cosy and friendly hotel in Crans Montana, the Hotel Ad'Eldorado is the one! Lovely relaxed atmosphere and helpful staff headed up by Mr & Mrs Bonvin. We booked last minute and only stayed one night, but thanks to the owners being so accommodating, we skied two full days and we felt we really made the most of our time. The hotel is in a calm and quiet spot and is south facing. Lovely views from the restaurant. And breakfast was filled with diverse, good quality products. Our son Liam loved the freshly cooked miniature pancakes, the grain grinder and the juicer machine! We loved the skiing at Crans too. Good lift system and some amazing views. There Pointe Morte black is a must-do, as are the FIS-standard pistes (you feel like Didier Cuche when you arrive at the bottom!). We also really appreciated the ride to the lift station in the hotel's VW Multivan...we felt like VIPs! The nearest bus stop is just a few minutes' walk away. Hotel has reduced price lift tickets on sale which is really helpful. The Chemin des Lanternes walk from opposite the Golf Club is a must-do after sunset. So simple with the lights, but really effective. We had a fantastic break. Thank you to all the Eldorado team!…
Stayed for a week over New Year and had interconnecting rooms for us and our two teenagers. Really friendly owners who went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Spotless, cozy rooms with comfy beds and good bathrooms. The buffet breakfast was a highlight, as were evening drinks by the fire and the shuttle to the ski lifts in the morning. Location was great - a few minutes walk to both Crans and Montana for restaurants, shopping etc.
ran by a very friendly and accommodating couple. perfect base for staying in the idyllic town of Crans-Montana. there was a festival on when we were there and it was close to the gondola station, comfortable in the room and the breakfast was delicious. would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed staying at these hotel I was wonderful place to stay Run by family which they are very very nice and and a great time we had Breakfast and the servece was excellent and the rooms have nice mountains views We enjoined 5 nights at these hotel Thanks for the mother and her son Mohamed
We spent three fabulous days here as a stop on our group tour. Room was great with a comfortable bed and lovely view of the mountains from the balcony. Our breakfasts and dinners in the dining room had plenty of great food. Layout of the hotel is a bit quirky, but that just added to the charm. Good location with an easy walk to nearby attractions and services. Definitely one of our favorite hotels on our trip.
Stayed for 13 nights and we were looked after fantastically well by the hosts. We were B&B which was comprehensive and nutritious, there really is something for all, we skipped lunch having being full from the breakfast. We ate out most evenings though we did have the hotel fondu with new potatoes one evening and a bottle of wine which compares on price favourably to local restaurants The room we had was lovely and what we asked for, the bedrooms soundproofing & external shutters / curtains are fantastic providing a dark room for sleep;and the heating definitely works, we turned it off every evening. The hosts take and collect for skiing if required although the bus stop is a 2 minute walk. The skiing in crans is good, not a huge resort, but what is fantastic is that its busiest day (Saturday) compares to a quiet french resort day. Queues were almost unknown to us during our stay. Credit to the hosts. Its a good hotel worthy of 3 stars, we loved it, and the towns of crans and montana are lovely.…
Now, there is construction in the area, but its a good thing! Everything is very walkable from here - to the gondola and downtown as well as shopping. A beautiful area. Food was fantastic and the view was to die for! Very clean. Bed was super comfy - I would stay again in a heartbeat!
This is a truly wonderful hotel from which to enjoy the tremendous resort of Crans Montana. The service is amazingly friendly and efficient, and the food is beautifully cooked and great value. The room had superb guides and the standard of cleaning is impeccable. These hoteliers really know their business. We had a delicious steak and some fantastic value wines too. It's totally unpretentious and friendly. We will definitely be going back.
A hidden gem in Crans-Montana! Family run chalet hotel style with great service, nice and spacious rooms (for Switzerland winter sport hotel standards) and gorgeous montain views in a very calm area, 5 minute’s walk to Crans or Montana centre. High quality breakfast buffet including a variety of local bread, bakery and delicatessen, fresh squeezed orange and vegetable juices. We will definitely come back for a longer stay as soon as possible!
Close to the lifts in Crans (which are difficult to reach) and have a nice shuttle that will take you to the lifts. It is also very close to a huge Migros, and to downtown. The funicular is a little far but a bus travels from there regularly. The rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms are really stellar. The breakfast is copious and really something to behold. The staff is friendly and really runs a tight ship. The family run hotel is really worth it, huddled away from the street and close to a lot. The family is super nice, and even drove us to the funicular (15 min away) on a sunday night when we missed our connection!! Can you believe that, how awesome! Definitely our hotel for Crans.
