We loved this place; it has a beautiful setting and is decored with great taste. The service is one of the best we have encountered, and they make an effort to be helpful. They have a great attitude and made our stay an unforgettable one! Thank you Hostellerie Du Pas De L'Ours!
Highly enjoyable five nights in a Pas de l’Ours loft suite on a ski trip to Crans. Every meal was beautifully crafted with a well-considered wine list and the breakfasts were a particularly good start for our days on the hill. We were well looked after by the front of house staff - including lighting our cosy wood fire every evening. The shuttle guys were also excellent, no-fuss, delivering us to the lifts, picking us up at the end of the day and assisting with ski swaps. Perhaps the bar could brush up on vodka martini mixing - a very minor (if important!) quibble about an otherwise braw sojourn.
Beautiful area ! From arrival to departure we were spoiled by the nice and friendly staff. The front desk & staff takes care of you like you are one of their own. The manager is available all the time and the other staff members especially the front desk master Valentine , is the epitome & elegance of great hosting. They could not assist us enough! The rooms are cosy and warm - true Swiss updated and in style. We took the brown bear room what a view!! The restaurants on the premise of Hostelliere De Pa del’Ours were exceptiional , especially the gourmet one! Superb. Their bistro was also fantastic. The 3rd night we ate at the hotel next-door we had Swiss fare enjoying fondue while sitting alongside a cosy fireplace the food was very good and so close. They have a spa and the spa area was outfitted witha Fantastic large beautiful swimming pool in and outside with great views The skiing was wonderful the view incredible The restaurant our hotel referred us to on the mountain in Cran Montana for lunch was Violette. It was very delicious & enjoyable with a True Swiss Alps feeling! My husband and also also visited Alaia the wave garden It was a try treat great waves excellent operation. Very nice I would stay here many, many , many , many times again. kudos to all!! Cheers ! Denise…
The service in this hotel was very good-breakfast and front desk were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and it was so nice to have seated service and not a buffet. I was disappointed with my room. It was small and did not have a separate bathroom. When making a reservation pay attention to the fact that the small rooms do not have a view. Not only do they not have a view, they are on the road looking into the garages across the street. For the price of the room this was very disappointing. F
we enjoy a lot a true Gem with Charme of being a part of Family We enjoy both Gastronomic part of this wonderful Property and we was amazed of the staff and food quality. Thank you Franck, Patrice & Team that you make us a wonderful familiar experience.
My family and I spent a few days in Crans Montana at this hotel and had a superb experience. We have stayed in many different hotels in the area over many years and none compare to Hostellerie du Pas de l’Ours. The service is personal and first-rate, exactly what one would expect from a family-run Swiss luxury boutique hotel. The location is close to town but still removed enough to be quiet and private. The design is a beautiful combination of classic Alpine with modern minimalist touches. Of course, as a relais & chateau property, the food is exceptional. We cannot wait to return to ski this Christmas.
Spacious and comfortable rooms with lovely panoramic view from the balcony, very friendly and helpful staff and excellent dinner at the bistrot. All-over a very charming mountain hotel for a cosy getaway !
Having spent one week in another hotel, we finally passed three days at the Pas De L'Ours. Comforabtle Room, Beautiful breakfast, and amazingly "serviable"staff. We were granted an early check in and a late Check out, which was very practical. The pool/spa services are shared with the neighboring establishment, but they are generous enough and elegantly designed to accommodate all guests. We will be back!
Really great hotel in a nice quiet location at the edge of the village. Its small and very friendly. Staff were absolutely amazing, friendly polite helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The lady on the front desk recommended a brilliant hike which we very much enjoyed and it was absolutely brilliant and a real experience, the hike of a lifetime around 4 hours and challenging, which was exactly what we were looking for. Ate in the restaurant and had the tasting menu - absolutely superb with great service. I had some massages and used the gym and pool which were all lovely, the gym is small but perfectly formed for a quick workout whilst on holiday to work off all that amazing food. Pool is a big size and there is a steam room and sauna, pool area has plenty of space for sunbathing. We had one of the basic rooms which was small but beautiful inside with clever storage, it is a old hotel and it was depicted correctly on the pictures as a small room so no issue there. There is no air conditioning as expected in a older property, my only recommendation would be to have some fans available in the rooms in the summer. It was super hot when we were there and even with the window open it didn't provide much relief, the front desk kindly arranged a fan but would be good to have these readily available. The hotel arranged golf for my husband and it was all organized perfectly. We live only 3 hours away and would definitely go back a huge thank you to the really wonderful and friendly staff who made our stay so memorable.…
Second visit in the month, we are already looking forward to coming back. The relais & château hotel offers very cozy and comfy rooms, where everything is put together to be simple and functional, but with utmost attention to detail and quality. Staff is super friendly, and we love that the hotel is connected to a second hotel, which opens a lot more possibilities for dining! Especially in these circumstances.
