We booked this Relais & Chateaux both for the food/ Michelin star as well as small property with intimacy & charm: from the moment we checked in and met the owner and her team of young, attentive staff, everything delivered was top notch service: location is central for shopping, skiing or dining , rooms are cosy with great views, understated decor and good bedding...Severine and her dedicated staff are always available to meet any request and try to make your stay ever more pleasant. Valentine's day dinner at the Bistro didn't disappoint with a great manager Camille who knows what she is doing. The Spa, shared with next door hotel, is nice but I would recommend also visiting Aida's (adult only sister property in town) that offers greater amenities & services to enjoy...All in all, a great hospitality standard delivered with a personal touch in a warm establishment that well represents the Relais & Chateaux experience in a mountain resort setting.

Stayed in this boutique hotel during the week of low season so it was very quiet and peaceful. Hotel staff are excellent, attentive and friendly, above and beyond that made my stay extra special. It was a surprise that they followed up and checked in on the day of my arrival to make sure when they can organize the transfer for me. I took the train from Geneva to Sierra/Siders, then changed to Crans-Montana funicular going up, the hotel just arranged the free transfer from there which is easy for those who don’t drive.
Love the room design in the Alpine chalet decor with the modern touch that doesn’t feel outdated. Breakfast is amazing, especially with the view of snowy mountain is such an unique and unforgettable moment.

Gather the idea of spending your ski family holiday in a private Maison, where you experience the epitome of personalized service, in the warmest and most elegant atmosphere. The Mansion is beautifully decorated, in a contemporary fashion while respecting the original codes of a Swiss Chalet: Raw timber and stones, curated art pieces and a central fireplace! Same cozy ambiance in the suites: Raw elegance but optimal comfort and refinement: the suites are spacious with all amenities you can expect from a high end establishment: How about sipping a glass of local Pinot Noir in front of your private fireplace while admiring a panoramic view over the Swiss alps? Second to none!
Gastronomy is the central gig: From the à la carte Breakfast to the Bistrot or fine dining restaurant featuring 1 Michelin Star, Chef Franck Reynaud offers a unique experience with locally selected products and sublime craftsmanship. Not to mention the wine list with an extensive selection of the very best of Valais vineyards amongst other classics.
But what really sets this Maison appart, are the team and the people: They are animated by a unique spirit offering personalized service and genuine kindness with a lot of refinement but never overdoing it! Absolutely perfect.
To conclude, this is the kind of hotel where you experience something really special… a bubble of timeless elegance. luxury for insiders. Can’t wait to be back.

This Hotel lives up to its 5 star status and then some. Our suite had a double-sided fireplace which staff was eager to light for us anytime of day or night. The hotel is super cozy, location is terrific and the staff outstanding. Remi, one of the managers was a real standout, always checking that we had everything whether it be plans for hiking, the right place of fondue or some wine and cheese of our room in the afternoon. There is a great spa and indoor outdoor pool. My wife and i have been to a lot of nice places, this is a new favorite!

Our family has been to various hotels in the Alps for skiing, but Hostellerie du Pas de L'Ours is heads and shoulders above the rest. The staff members are not only extremely knowledgeable and professional, but they can read your mind and anticipate your needs beforehand. One family member was due to arrive late at night, and without my asking, the hotel staff suggested and prepared a lovely snack that was well received. They seemed to always know when you're thirsty and would appear with a water bottle magically. We stayed in the Le Sommet Suite, which has a thoughtful floorplan with fantastic views. The hotel shuttle was also readily available to take us to and back from the slopes. The food was delicious and the spa was amazing. This hotel simply just gets everything right.

This is a gem of a hotel in Crans Montana. They have a wonderful team that makes you feel welcome the moment you arrive. The views from the rooms were breathtaking (make sure you select Mountain View, it’s worth it). The food at the bistro was delicious and carefully prepared. Finally, the facilities are top-notch - the heated pool, the sauna, and the hammam.

We had booked an open suite, when we arrived we were offered a loft suite for the same Award. Very comfortable with excellent service. Very attentive and helpful staff. A negative. The spa and swimming pool are also accessible to guests of a much larger nearby Inn, which apparently attracts less civilized guests.

Beautiful area ! From arrival to departure we were spoiled by the nice and friendly staff. The front desk & staff takes care of you like you are one of their own. The manager is available all the time and the other staff members especially the front desk master Valentine , is the epitome & elegance of great hosting. They could not assist us enough!
The rooms are cosy and warm - true Swiss updated and in style. We took the brown bear room what a view!!
The restaurants on the premise of Hostelliere De Pa del’Ours were exceptiional , especially the gourmet one! Superb. Their bistro was also fantastic.
The 3rd night we ate at the hotel next-door we had Swiss fare enjoying fondue while sitting alongside a cosy fireplace the food was very good and so close.
