Great stay at Hotel du Golf , food and service are amazing and I also had the time to enjoy a super spa experience ! 🤩💆🏻♀️🔝 The Swimming pool has a stunning snowy mountain view 😍 Such a relaxing afternoon ! Would definitely recommend booking HDG if you visit crans ! Thank you !
I reserved for my parents for a week. Old small bedroom, with old SMELLY carpet and old bathrooms. None of the usuals 5 star service or amenities ( forget the Nespresso machine, not even a tiny kettle in the room). Elevator with no door which didn’t even think existed anymore… But what’s worst is by far is the restaurant: the food is frankly bad and I felt awful seeing my parents suffering because they needed to go out to external restaurants just to have something decent even if they are old and tired. And the cherry on the cake? My mom asked for a camomille tea at the bar after dinner. The barman offered to bring it upstairs because she was tired. And charged 27CHF for it. It’s only perk is that it’s conveniently located, and the Italian staff is friendly and nice, but if you are looking for a 5 star hotel, I would advise you to avoid. It’s an absolute never again for us.…
We spent our Christmas holidays in this Palace, luxury room with a view, service extremely efficient, ski shuttle and driver, the Italian restaurant was divine! The Spa Cellcosmet was a new discovery! The massages very relaxing and the swimming pool a dream We hope to come back with the rest of our family in February
This place is ancient. Truly one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at in my life. I am so confused how it is still in business. Mediocre service and horrible rooms that are from the 1980's. I would have rather stayed home than coming here for a ski vacation. It is a JOKE that this place is deemed a "5 star hotel" - I am stunned that people went here and wrote good reviews. The beds are literally like slabs of concrete that must be 20 years old. Awful awful place, literally go anywhere but here.
A disgrace. This hotel represents everything that's wrong with Crans: overpriced, terrible service and a complete contempt for the clients. Under no circumstances stay here. Pay a quarter of the price and stay in somewhere ten times as good.
We stayed one week in Grand Hotel du Golf and very much enjoyed our stay! The hotel is amazingly with direct Golf access and the beautiful view of the alps. The Staffs are very helpful and friendly. The indoor swimming pool is big, we enjoyed every day swimming and lying on the terrasse with beautiful view. The breakfast is wonderful too! Highly recommended!
This hotel offers the most delightful and exquisite gastronomic experience in Valais! The service is impeccable and the client, always treated as a king, really feels at home. More specifically, I would energetically recommend the Italian restaurant to anyone who loves true tradition and quality. Bravo!
We enjoyed the hotel and the great st-valentin's dinner! A great hotel well placed, close to a nice walk with lot of lanterns/lights. Staff were always nice and we had a perfect stay with my family ! We will come back soon for sure :-)
We arrived and were surprised by the lack off anti Covid measures. Compared to everywhere I have been I wasn’t expecting a ‘4 star’ in Switzerland to be the place I felt the least safe regarding Covid. Sunday morning at the breakfast buffet when the canton of Valais had imposed masks as from that day in bars and restaurants, stipulating that unless sitting at the tables masks were obligatory, clients were strolling around without masks, sharing bread knives, serving spoons, lifting lids...etc. We ended up drinking our coffee served at the table by a masked waiter and left. I realize that guests should be more responsible but surely it is in the interest of the hotel staff to firmly and clearly state that masks are mandatory on top of disinfecting hands, social distancing etc. so as not to become the next hot spot and avoid further closing. We checked out with staff still not masked. Hopefully since the Conseil Federal’s announcement a few hours later these problems will be fixed. On a more positive note the massages at the spa were lovely and the professional competent employees wore their masks when asked. Not normally negative but think that preventive measures are the way to go to maintain tourism in lovely places. …
We really enjoyed our night at the hotel. We had minimal expectations with some modest reviews but were pleasantly surprised. Our room was spacious with a seperate lounge area, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the indoor pool was terrific. The location is great and the price reasonable. We had a great time!
