Lovely, comfortable hotel with good food, excellent facilities and attentive staff. The hotel is a little dated but this just adds to its charm. It is in a great location and each room has a balcony. The rooms are large and clean.

Stayed at the Maritim for a week on a Great Railway package. Staff were very attentive and helpful and the catering was excellent. Built in the '70s I think, the hotel is a little dated, but the views from the balcony compensate somewhat and the package overall was very good value for money. Would we stay there again? Yes.

The hotel is situated at really nice location at the feet of Harz Mountain with the nice forest view. It's just 2min walk from ski lifts which are taking you up to the mountain. The hotel itself is quite nice , rooms are spacious and with balcony. The best point is their pool and sauna facilities, large pool has glass...

Lets start with the positives: Very friendly and able receptionists could help me whenever I had a request. The hotel itself is located on the flank of a mountain giving a nice view from every room, just what I was looking for. The only reason why I gave 3 out of 5 points is that my overall stay was a...

We stayed in this hotel over the Christmas holiday and despite the negativity of some of the reviews we were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is large and austere from the road but the rooms were very clean and roomy. The balcony in better weather would be a delightful place to sit and enjoy the staggering views. Yes the lifts...

This was my first stay at the Hotel in Braunslage. We went there during the holidays and stayed over christmas. Having not much experience about the star rating we hoped this four star restaurant would make us a nice vacation, but we were bitterly disappointed. We had a room with a nice view in the 8th floor, overlooking Braunslage and...

This hotel is definitely dated but in a good way. I half expected Abba to jump out of the bathroom as it was SO 1970's. It did make me smile as I've never (or don't remember) ever visiting such an old fashioned hotel but I loved it! The rooms were ultra clean and comfortable, everything worked as it should and...
