We stayed here for a few days and were very pleased. Our double room at the front of the hotel was spacious, well maintained and very clean. Although near a road junction noise from the street was minimal as the windows were effectively triple glazed. There is free wi-fi albeit somewhat feeble. And there are a hand-full of parking places... More

The only thing its not great here is very old rooms and an elevator from 1959. that needs few minutes to get to 3rd floor. All other things are more than ok. Great breakfast, very nice personal working here. Be carefull about parking in front of hotel, if you stay too long you get a ticket!! Park behind a hotel... More

I was visiting Giessen on business for a weekend and was booked in by my company at this hotel. I have to say I was disappointed in the establishment. My room was minuscule. I compared it to another single room and realized that all rooms are completely different sizes even though they're the same price. Also, the rooms are in... More

Business trip brought us here for 4 nights. During the whole stay there was a group of students who are football team players "renting" this place. During the whole stay it was noisy and loud, with consistent stomping and loud music playing every night, sometimes at day times as well. We required to have the room changed and it was... More

This small, unpretentious hotel was better than I expected. After the super efficient train from Frankfurt, the hotel was human in scale and character. The receptionists were friendly and helpful, the room - a double with its own sitting room and a comfortable bed - was quiet and comfortable. It is within walking distance of everything in the town. The... More

Giessen is a major university town with some 30,000 students in a population of 80,000 and the hotel had the 80s feel of someplace dedicated to visiting parents. Futon-like chair, old style TV, etc. It has the standard small German bathroom with square shower, etc., and a door with key lock not card lock. evetyone here, however, seemed businessmna, especially...
