Stayed here in mid-September. Clean, quiet, ample parking, great breakfast, and friendly, helpful owner.....nothing better than this!! And a quick walk into the central part of town. We heartily recommend the hotel, of course.

Simple but very clean and tidy. The beds are great and the rooms modern and clean. It is also very quiet. Good value for money! I will go back there when I am next in Kulmbach. Breakfast is a buffet with fresh and tasty bread. Good coffee!

Very clean and pleasant hotel without being horribly expensive. Bed was comfortable and bathroom modern and clean. Very quiet at night. Breakfast is a simple buffet but tasty fresh rolls and good coffee. What more do you want? I would stay again.

The accommodation was my first stop on a multi day bike tour of the Main River. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The rooms appear new or newly renovated. The hotel owners were incredibly nice and helpful. The hotel itself is a direct ten minute walk to the city center. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast offered at the hotel. Be sure and try the homemade yoghurt. The hotel offered a secure place to store my bicycle and had pumps available.

The room was large by European standards and very comfortable. I was fortunate enough to have a view of the castle from my window. The breakfast had many options. The real highlight were the proprietors and the service! I was there for a meeting and the proprietors were very friendly and remembered all of their customers and how they like their morning coffee; they also watched out for us to make sure we caught the bus for the meeting. I would definitely stay there again if my travels brought me to Kulmbach. One thing to keep in mind if arriving late is that there are a lack of taxis at the train station and it is about a mile walk. We needed to use a mapping app to find the hotel.
