Overpriced at $130. Had a grubby feel to it. Musty smell. Dark and dingy unit.No sky tv. Just freeview despite being advertised. Down a long driveway and reception at the back down a driveway that a 4 wheel drive would struggle to back out of. Bed very old and creaky and uncomfortable.

We booked to stay here to go to a friends birthday & paid over $120 but did not stay as the room had a very bad smell, despite windows being left open. We were given a studio room, roomy enough but everything was old & it didn't feel clean. A lot of money for a very poor standard.

Our Group stayed at the Waiuku Motel last year. A very comfortable older motel located near the shopping centre in a quiet bush area. Plenty of off-street parking & room for buses, trucks boats & trailers etc.. on a large site with undercover parking. This motel has both studio & 2-bedroom units with full kitchen facilities & is reasonably priced..

I recently booked a studio unit for an overnight visit. The motel is on the main street of town but down a long driveway so noise was not a problem. At first glance, the units looked very old but on opening the door, we were surprised to see the modern, clean and quite generously sized rooms. Comfortable beds; full kitchen...

We stayed here for 1 night in the two bedroom suite, due to everything being booked up in Auckland. It had a big kitchen & lots of beds & room. Decor is pretty basic, but this would work for a family or group on a budget.

Clean and tidy, old but has been kept well, very friendly owner. We stayed only one night in a deluxe studio after a wedding in the district. Units are quiet and well off the road. Owner made us feel welcome and provides a very good service
