Lovely hotel near the castle in surprising Tubingen. Large, comfortable room, although our WC was a little cramped. The separate shower/sink room was much larger. Walk up stairs to room with nice view of the castle gate and valley. Located on narrow street after a sharp turn so drive carefully if arriving by car. The restaurant with a lovely outdoor...

Had a great overnight stop here. Room was good, big bathroom and nice and quiet. The bed was a little hard for my taste. Right in the centre of the town so easy to walk around. We ate in the hotel restaurant which was an excellent decision, really good local food and very friendly staff. Breakfast was good too, although...

You would expect everything to be excellent at a hotel like this. And it's ALMOST what you would expect: excellent service, staff, details...But the bathroom is not practical at all, despite its good look, as the shower place has no door to separate it from the rest of the bathroom so the floor gets wet. Good breakfast, and best: Herbert's...

very impressive hotel in the midst of Tübingen, near the castle, really famous, Driving up to the hotel by car is a bit difficult, and parking space is scarce, but the benefits are the short distances into the town.

I stayed at the Hotel Am Schloss whilst on business. The staff were friendly and had a good sense of humour and nothing was too much trouble. The room (number 43) is in a building opposite the main hotel on the third floor. It is absolutely lovely and would recommend it to business travellers or holiday makers alike. The ceiling...

The building (there are several) we were lodgin was very nicely renovated. You have to climb several small staircaises up to the room under the roof. Room almost Juniorsuite size. We did not like the bed, but everything else was fine. Minifridge, however no coffee fac. From the several windows you always look on to roofs of the surrounding houses....

Although the telephone contact with the hotel was not promising, we were happy at the hotel and had good experiences with the rest of the staff throughout our stay. We stayed at the guest house (#5), which was large and comfortable. Breakfast was small but excellent in quality and we found everything we need. A laid back and very accomodating...

I was traveling on business, but this is an excellent hotel to come as a tourist. It is set in the old city area of Tubingen, close to the castle. The hotel is set in a couple of old buildings. If you are lucky like me and stay in the loft , it is a great experience (If you do...

...next to the Castle which is situated on top of town, overlooking the rooftops, the valley with the river Necar and Österberg with the beautiful Corps Student houses. It's a challange to find ones way by car. The streets are steep, very narrow, often oneway and here and there cluttered with chairs and tables outside restaurants. Very charming, though. The...
