Sadly I have left it too long to write my customary more detailed review, so general impressions will have to suffice. This was a lovely 9 day break at the end of the end of the summer (last few days of August, first few of September), with the only thing not playing ball being the weather! It is really too late in the summer to guarantee stable weather in the mountains, so there was a lot of rain, though not every day was a washout. Lovely suite, with gorgeous view of the valley, and plenty of space, with a separate living room, and extra toilet and walk in robe. Shame not to have a bath, however. Everything in good repair and tasteful decoration (almost Scottish tartans!). Most staff pleasant and professional, although the bar area was a disaster really, as it was just too busy to get served quickly, so this put us off, more than once, from sitting to have a drink after dinner, which otherwise would have been quite a nice thing to do on holiday! The main bar waiter there was also quite slow and unfriendly. This, on reflection, was the main disappointment about the hotel. Great to have use of the 2 pool areas (booking system during Covid worked well, and rarely had to share with anyone) and also fitness area, though this was tiny, with only minimal equipment. Still, it was maintained, which is more than you can say for many establishments. Food-wise, restaurant areas were operated well. Breakfast had reasonable choice, and nice staff. Set menus at dinner were also good, although it was a bit more variable with the staff. When we chose not to eat at the hotel, there were a couple of great choices down the hill in the village, which was only a ca.15 minute walk away. Titisee itself was a pleasant 30-40 minute walk through the forest, though coming back was uphill and a little harder work. There were e-bikes available for hire from the hotel, and there are also plenty of walks/hikes you can do in the environs. There was one incident, speaking of the bikes, where mine broke down and I had to bring it back, wasting half a day, where I didn't get anything nearing an apology. The hotel did put this right, however, at the end of my stay by removing the charge. I always say, however, that the apology right at the beginning wouldn't have been so hard, would it? All in all, a lovely establishment, and winter breaks there would also be lovely I'm sure.

The hotel is located outside the very busy Titisee holiday madness area and has very nice views. Hotel and rooms are very clean, high hygienic standards. 5-course diner very good , good value for money. Room (superior Fernblick) quite small, but comfortable bathroom. Nice views from the room, but ours located just above restaurant, not much privacy on our terrace. Breakfast real disaster, complete chaos and covid 19 restrictions not taken seriously . We decided to have roomservice breakfast for rest of the holiday. Bike rental: bad service.

+ Beautiful view, rooms spacious (suite & double), very clean, staff friendly and available, breakfast very nice with lot's of warm & cold options, forest and nature just next to the hotel - No air-condition, Food tasteless and more like "instant cooking", higher expectation for this 4+ hotel (price/ratio), we preferred to eat outside after day 1. Feedback shared with staff/service as well as management who never reached out to us Lovely place for outdoor lovers but would not recommend for food connoisseurs

We stayed at saigerhoeh hotel for a week and it was a very nice experience. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are big and comfortable. The pool/sauna area is great. The breakfast is varied and tasty. The staff were welcoming and patient. I would definitely recommend it for anyone arriving the black forest.

Spending a couple of days for a business conference here, great service, good food, nice environment and great views. Without special request I got a very large room (which is very nice compared to the small rooms in city hotels. Internet speed was the only point on which I was not satisfied, room for improvement here.
