We, two couples, came to Erlenbruck second time. The purpose of the stay was vacation with some skiing. Hinterzarten is outstanding place for skiing. Many tracks for skiing with different levels of dificulty are available. Good quality equipment is available for rent for a reasonable price. The resort Erlenbruck itself is an old style hotel with apartment with one/two bedrooms,...

Our family of five with children aged 17, 14 & 9 stayed here for 9 nights in December. Evelyn at reception was an amazing help in planning out day trips and recommending restaurants. We stayed on timeshare in a 2 bedroom apartment on the second floor. There is no lift so its good exercise. We used it as a base...

Erienbruck 5 is a large single building resort with some 30 nice self-contained apartments. We stayed there 3 years ago in a 1 bed apartment. This time we were in 2 bed at the top of the building 3&4 floor. No lifts (good exercise!!) All rooms have small but adequate balconies facing south west (sun in the evening) overlooking fields woods in...

Erlenbruck is in a delightful leafy Black Forest location with classic architecture. The apartment was OK - a bit tired/dated, the furniture was not the most comfortable, and being on the top floor we had small windows and a balcony - but the cramped kitchen with no window was the real bugbear. Wifi cost 5 euros per appliance per week;...

Glad we stayed here! Evelin is very warm and helpful, and Erlinbruck is a peaceful place. We mostly used it as a starting point (we traded via RCI) to Freiburg, Strasbourg, Black Forest, (go to House of Black Forest Clocks - with a small store in Triborg and main store 10 minutes down the road- the clockmaker, Adolf, is there...

Evelyn the managing lady , runs a tight ship, well done to Evelyn. You need space , this is for you. Spacious rooms, not being bothered, do your own thing. The facility is part of the RCI self catering group. A restaurant is available that provides a good dinner. The Sauna and indoor swimming pool is magic. Apartments as mentioned...

Stayed here through an exchange with RCI. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. Rooms were very clean and plenty of towels. Kitchen was separate, small but had everything we needed. Did cook dinner a few nights and had breakfast every morning. Lots of hot water, but be careful as you can bump into the shower curtains which causes water to...

We arrived a day late but Evelyn, the lady at the front desk left the key in the box for us, so it was not a problem getting into the house. It had snowed a few days before we got there and the area was really beautiful as the houses looked like chalets. The apartment was very clean and the...

We arrived and were welcomed by Evelyn who proved to be very helpful and competent. Erlenbruck is about a kilometer up the hill from Hinterzarten and is perfectly situated for walking. We had a car but only used it to drive to a large grocery store and to drive to the train station. The train pass you receive when you...

Charming resort up the hill from Hinterzarten, probably more fun with a car but we managed without one for most of the time. Had a one bedroom apartment with a nice kitchen with dishwasher etc. The balconies of all the apartments - that have them, immediately over look the resorts small garden, then the grazing land of the farm next...
