We stayed a few places in Germany during our last trip and this was far and away our best night. We wish we had booked more than one night here. We were in room 34 which was incredible! There were 4 of us (2 adults,...More
Wonderful castle overlooking the Rhine. Our room was fabulous and had a private deck. The service was wonderful and so was the food. Fun to explore all the rooms and the extensive grounds! The downside is geting there. You definitely want a taxi since it...More
This is a magical castle hotel north of Wiesbaden on the Rhine. The location is spectacular and the hotel does not ever disappoint. This is a half-board hotel with breakfast and dinner included and that is usually not a plus if you want to try...More

They had carts for transporting luggage. They were basically golf carts. They seemed glad to transport you. Then get a room on the first floor and you should be good. A lot of the charm of the castle are the gardens that would not be good for someone with limited mobility. Many of the rooms and restaurants with great views would be easily accessible. I hope this helps. The hotel went out of their way to make sure to accommodate us. I am sure they would help your father. It is a once in a lifetime place.
