We booked Hotel Adler when we attended a wedding, and the hotel iwa recommended to be the best hotels in the area. The hotel is located in the center of the town (Eischstätt is a very small village, so there is really not that much in the town center). The room is spacious and clean. Breakfast is included and it...

My husband really wanted to see the Solnhofen fossil beds, and so we chose to stay in Eichstatt as the most convenient location. The Hotel Adler looked convenient and offered parking. The room was fine - nothing special, but no complaints. Breakfast, again, was OK. Apparently the hotel parking arrangement was too complicated for my German, and we ended up...

I had chosen this particular hotel out of 2 options for my cousins wedding. This hotel being the more expensive option, I had high expectations. Firstly, let me start out by saying this is a smaller town. If you expect people to speak anything other than German, you are in for a huge shock. Stick to Munich at a chain...

Hotel Adler is in a perfect location to see the city. Rooms are nice and staff is friendly. Free parking is about a 5 minute walk. Continental breakfast is generous and a perfect start to the day. Only issue we had while there was the wifi going offline everyday for an unknown period of time. They apologised for the problem...

We stumbled to this town by accident and decided based on the reviews and price to stay at the Adler, we had 2 double rooms, standard doubles, facing into inner courtyard, they were both roomy, although 30 was bigger than 31. Reception desk was helpful, rooms, simple, stylish and quite hard beds, if you like that kind of bed. The...

Stayed at this hotel for a week. The service was very exceptional and the front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the hotel well kept. Found some minor issues getting the hot cold water to work correctly for the shower but decided to live with it for the duration of the stay. We informed...

Our short visit to Eichstatt wasn't originally intended to include an overnight. However, at dusk we'd decided to enjoy more of this 'stadt', as there aren't quite enough hours in a day to take it all in. We'd visited the Abbey earlier in the afternoon, and had inquired about staying there (indeed, you can -- but without a dog). Wandering...

Lovely hotel with beautiful spacious rooms, lovely decor, an elevator, friendly staff... And best of all, it's very warm! This is the first hotel we've stayed at all month in Europe that hasn't been quite cold. They even let us sleep in and didn't nag us to check out. They were very friendly and accommodating. I missed the breakfast but...

We stayed with our kids in a attic-type room with two queen beds. The bathroom was small but very clean. Breakfast was delicious, complete with baguettes, croissants, jam, butter, juice, tea, coffee and muesli, yogurt and more! Eichstatt is a dream, we visited the Abbey of St Walburga which was heaven on earth! None of us wanted to leave the...

We were at the start of a cycling tour, so were probably in the cheaper rooms at he back. Comfortable (with fans to help cope with the heat), but we overlooked the fire escape and the room directly opposite. Made everything very dark, and it was a surprise to go outside and find it was sunny. The stairs were clearly...
