Nice location, rooms are small, but reasonable for the price. Friendly staff. The halls are a little noisy as the hall ways are not carpeted. So you can hear a door close from far away. Shared bathroom wasn't too bad, but prefer my own.

Breakfast and dinner are buffet style and quite good. I liked that they had a few small local bottles of wine and beer available at the lobby which were payable on "honor system". Nobody had let us know that we needed to reserved a spot for dinner. We had rushed to make it on time just to be refused eventhough...

The Kloster is overall lovely with a truly calming atmosphere. The breakfast offers a very large variety of choices and be sure to try the homemade preserves (there must have been about 8 different flavors)! The room was quite large and very clean. Had dinner at the Hotel Restaurant Sternen....the Pfannekuchen soup was delicious (ate there only because we didn't...

Very good location for exploring Baden Bden and Black Forest either by car or bus (214) or train. Very good breakfast. The best value for money actually. Must be careful though with late check-ins (after 22-00) and inform the staf beforehand. Unlike in the hotel you are supposed to act accordingly (but there are several bars near the place).

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE: -Woman at the reception was very rude and unfriendly. -Rooms were not heated even it was freezing outside, we were under the blankets with our jackets all night long. -Shared bathrooms were cold as well and there was no hot water during the night. -Rooms and the equipment were obsolete and they were useless. -If you...

Kloster Maria Hilf was a surprise for us - we did not expect such large and bright rooms, excellent service, wonderful park, and above all, peaceful atmosphere and nature around. We were two families with kids - everything was perfect with our stay!

Basic but very very clean rooms. The place would be perfect for travellers who search for unique experiences (such as a convent). The receptionist was nasty. We booked a double bed. She started arguing that a double bed was a special request that cannot be provided. As soon as I mentioned that I was going to give her a bad...

We stayed here for a whole lot cheaper than staying in Baden-Baden. The rooms are very basic(example: no TV). We couldn't get WiFi in our room but had to go down to the lobby to get connection. Excellent breakfast, the nuns make a lot of jams to try. As long as you know what your getting into, it's a good...

“Solo traveller can easily book a cheapest room whith shared bathroom which is ecellent value for money. Family travellers may take a double room which has bathroom/toilet. All the rooms are nice both in the main building and separate small villa type houses. No need to take dinner as it is pretty basic and no hot meals are served. Looking like a breakfast actually. Lots of opportunities to eat out some 5-7 mins away from the property.”

“I can't say that any room is different from the other. They all seem to be comparable, noise is not a factor. We were about 50 feet from the common bath facilities. I can imagine that closer and we may have encountered a bit more noise/traffic. Further away and it may have been an inconvenience. BTW, each room has its own sink, towels, bed linens, glasses and bottled water.”
