Antique Villa , wonderful building with nice rooms recently renewed, people very nice. Breakfast is rich and there is an internal parking. I've enjoyed to stay there and come back for sure again. Not far Seat you con choose a lot of restaurants with excellent food, especially fish dishes
A very nice hotel, offering good value for money within easy reach of Treviso Airport. Lovely rooms with plenty of space and good A/C, important in hottest July for 150 years. Recommendation for restaurant for dinner was Le Calamdrine at Cimadolmo, superb. Staff provided first class assistance when we left items behind, a wonderful place to start our Italian adventure.
It is a beautifull Villa, with a gentle Manager-Lady ( Rosana ), very attencious person, with a lot of tips about the region ( grappery fields in Piave River Region). Do not wait for elevators, Wi-Fi in-Room, ( only in Reception...) Room Service, and the nearby is local places and business, that closes early, but, you are there to feel the real italian country in Treviso's Region and you will be very satisfied when you get your rented car ( there are no trains, buses, taxis in these smal villages...), and go to secondary roads look to the rear os giants trucks carrying grappes...Visit Wineries, make your own schedule. At the end, we become to be bored, so great was the quietness. Two days will be enough, to feel the countryside of this area. Explaining: We have been there to know the region where my Grand-Grand Father was born, so...Conclude yourself.…
My boyfriend and I stayed one night at Villa Maternini as we had planned to visit a nearby winery. The hotel itself is very charming and so are the surroundings. The price is also very reasonable. I believe it was Rossana who took care of us during most of our stay and the service we received really exceeded our expectations. We foolishly didn't rent a car and taxis in Italy are very expensive. She kindly managed to organise ways for us to get around. The owners of the hotel themselves drove us to places to avoid us taking taxis! Finally she recommended a beautiful restaurant for dinner "Le Calandrine" (and she arranged to have someone pick us up and drop us back after dinner). Overall we really felt that they went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible, and it really was. We definitely recommend it and hope to be back very soon.…
The Hotel Maternini is situated in Vazzola, a sleepy town in the heart of the Prosecco region. It is housed in a former mansion that over time seems to have belonged to noblemen and the church. Rather recently it has been converted into a romantic hotel. The rooms are tastefully decorated as is the whole place. It is quiet and comfortable. Ms. Rossana, the lady in charge of the hotel, is very helpful and when interested tells you a lot about the history of the region, the wines - like the fantastic Ca di Roja winery nearby- , sights etc. Because it takes less than an hour to Venice (Mestre) one could even stay here when visiting Venice proper. The breakfast is very good, juices (not fresh), fruits, yoghurts, fresh buns, bread etc. For dinner one has to go elsewhere.
beautiful villa, very kind service; I warmly recommend it
Incredible Quality for reasonable price . Peacefull sleep Romantic place
