Rode my moto 1000 miles and this was a main destination and did not disappoint. Great paper mache art figures give a very cool active vibe. Great for kite boarding with Elevation right on property for rentals or lessons literally 100 feet from my room. From 2 bunk beds cheap $40 with separate bathroom, to $95 in a giant room...

Joe's is a local favorite. Good beer and growler fills, coffee in the morning, and good burgers and wings. Sadly, we used to go for breakfast bagels and they have changed up their menu, added a couple slices of potatoes, and raised the prices. We do still go for the beer, burgers and events such as the big screen superbowl...

Baja Joe's is an ideal base to visit the beautiful village of La Ventana. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and nice. There is a great bar there with local artisan beer and plenty of activities happening. Definitely check it out. If coming from La Paz on public transport, call them first and ask for...

Warmth, staff like family, HUGE, delicious burgers, friendly bar, amazing coffee, comfortable rooms, amazing kite boarding (and school)! This is where you need to be if you are active and you want to get away from the pressures and crowds of the cities. Everyone wants to make sure you are happy and comfortable. We don't kite board or wind surf...

Title says it all, but here goes: Party spot right on the beach near ***excellent kiteboarding***, good food, good service, only place with microbrews around. We tried the fish tacos (both grilled and fried) and chicken nachos (huge!), both tasty. The oatmeal stout was a good beer even by Colorado standards. :)

I didn't stay here, but stopped at Joe's Garage a few times after kiting lessons at Elevation. They have the best beer selection we found in town. I think they're the only place that has Baja Brewing Co.'s beers, so you can get something besides the usual Mexican lager. Food was good too. I had both the fried fish tacos...

We are here at the end of the kite season so it's pretty quiet everywhere in La Ventana, but we have been blessed with the windiest days of the year. Mark, Mary & Joe have all been amazing hosts for our small group. Perched on the best section of the kite beach, clean rooms and well equipped communal areas. Each...

We stayed at Baja Joe's as part of a fly fishing group with Gary Bulla Saltwater Fly Fishing Adventures. We have a blast with our hots and guide Gary, and were perfectly comfortable at Baja Joes. The catered meals in the group dining hall was the perfect place to gather after our days on the water, and regal each other...
