Fraser Island tour was the best thing of all things Queensland has to offer. So beautiful beaches, the rainforest the stats in the sky. My group was perfect. So that's just lucky. But the tour guide was so funny and cool. We was parting to 4 at night and he was just laughing about that morning after. Do it with...

Had a great trip to Fraser Island with the best group and the best group leader, Tom. We arrived late because of the weather, but we got all the information we needed from the staff. Made a food plan with our group, which worked out fine. Smart to bring a lot of bread for lunch etc. The entire trip was...

There was a cyclone the day before my trip(the day I arrived the hostel, and the food shopping was supposed to be done.) Due to the cyclone we arrived quite late, didn't have time to do the shopping or get the breefing. The staff did a great job to make the trip happen considering the circumstances. Fraser Island was amazing,...

We booked the tour through Greyhound, and although it was a bit pricey and there was a couple of extra expenses like buying your own food (did this in a group so only used 15$ for 2 and a half day) and paying a deposit for 60$ for the car(you get 50$ back) we loved it. Our guide, Tom was...

The Fraser Island-tour alone was awesome! The hostel? Not so much. Claiming to recently have had a total make-over, it didn't seem like that. It was cockroaches (six in total) coming out of the drain in the bathroom, and when we told this to the guy in the reception, he just looked at us like we were aliens... The kitchen...

The only reason I stayed here was the tour to Fraser, which was the best experience in Australie for me. The people were great and driving with a 4wd on the beach is just amazing. The only thing that was not that good, was that you have to make your own food, and the missing showers. The hostel is not...

Firstly we booked this trip with indie travel in Byron bay, and walked out thinking what have we just been conned into? Got told that all other trips don't have everything covered and insurance etc etc. Got told it was basically glamping and you just put in $10 for food and everything else is included. Baring in mind this trip...

Frazer Island was an amazing trip. Best camping I've done in Australia. But the thing that really made it was the tour guide Chris. He had incredible knowledge and was genuinely interesting. It shocked us how in depth his knowledge was and his honest approach to the history of Frazer Island was refreshing. Also his personal interest in individual campers...

Don't let the travel agents talk you into this package. I presume they are owned my Greyhound as it was obvious this was the only Frazer Island tour they can sell. We heard a whole load of rubbish from our rep Dom (Cairns) that Palace are the only company allowed to camp on the Island...well I don't know where Dom...

The tour might be expensive but it's absolutely worth the money! You get so see a lot of different things which would be impossible without a tour guide like for example the amazing Chris. He knows basically everything about the Island, the animals and the Natives and you can ask him anything you want. He's also very chilled, and you...
