Das Hotelli Fennada liegt ca. 5-10 Minuten von Heinola entfernt inmitten der Natur. Es handelt sich um ein Hotel mit einer großen Sportanlage, auf der gefühlt nahezu alle sportlichen Aktivitäten stattfinden können. Dementsprechend sind auch viele Vereine dort. Das Hotel ist vom Design ansprechend. Vor dem Haus gibt es ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze. Der Check-In war etwas kühl. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und das Bett angenehm. Es gibt auch eine Klimaanlage im Zimmer. Leider war die Hellhörigkeit zum Gang und Nachbarzimmer wirklich schlecht. Das Frühstück war hingegen top. Hier gab es wirklich eine riesige Auswahl an allen möglichen Speisen von guter Qualität. Auch der Speiseraum ist wirklich sehr ansprechend gestaltet.

Olimme tehneet varauksen viikonlopulle. Halusimme yöpyä fennadassa koska se on uimahallin ja muiden palveluiden vieressä. Varausta edellisenä iltana saimme tekstiviestin että varauksemme on siirretty pois hotellista, kauempana sijaitsevaan mökkiin. Soitin ja peruin varauksemme koska emme halunneet mökkiä, vaan hotellin läheltä palveluja. Asiakaspalvelu oli tylyä ja sanoi vain että tällaista se on kun on hiihtoloma. Onneksi emme vielä olleet tehneet maksullisia varauksia palveluihin, mutta viikonloppusuunnitelmat menivät uusiksi alle vuorokauden varoituksella. Täysin hyväksymätöntä toimintaa, en voi suositella kenellekään fennadaa tämän perusteella.

I paid 419e for 3 nights in a standard room. After I’d arrived the first thing I noticed was that there was no hand soap in the toilet or anywhere else in the room, so I had to go ask for some. After the first night no one had come to clean the room (make beds etc.) and when I asked about it, I was told that cleaning is only done every 3 days, so not even once during my 3-night stay. Yes, I’m able to make my own bed, but at this price it should be included in the price. Would also have needed some new towels, since, after all, this is a sports place. The hotel is marketed as being luxurious etc., but in my opinion they still have a long way to go. On the website it said that they have a newly opened bar with a heated terrace and food. We went there but the heaters on the terrace weren’t there yet and no food was available until later in the week. This complex is also full of children and there is nothing only for adults. One evening they had “a candle light swim” at the pool and in the ad it said that there is relaxing music etc. I don’t know about the music, because the place was full of kids shouting and playing and no one could have heard anything anyway. In short, hotel prices but without the service you’d expect at a good hotel. The breakfast was good, though.…

If you want to sleep in this hotel, do not come when it's raining. There's a serious sound problem that prevent's you from sleeping. Rain drops fall very loudly to a rooms windowsill. It's hard to imagine that this is possible but it is. We stayed up almost all night because of unregular very loud sound of raindrops hitting the windowsill. When addressed the problem at the hotel reception they said that other people were complaining too and they are sorry about the problem. However, when checking out after 4 nights stay and asked a discount (luckily there was rainfall only 1 of our 3 nights stay) the hotel receptionist refused to give any and said that nobody else had complained about it. It was a different person at the reception that time. Avoid this hotel, if you want to sleep in the night.…

This hotel in a very nicely renovated art deco building was a very pleasant surprise. Rooms are tastefully decorated, light and modern. Great continental breakfast, very nicely set up, and with excellent croissants. Good and child friendly service. Great surroundings for sports, outdoor life, and nice play areas for smaller children.

The hotel room was full of dust by arrival. As the hotel room had not been cleaned until 18.00h next day I asked the reception if the cleaning was included in the hotel price. There is no minibar, safe or phone in the room. The breakfast is on a highway motel level. There is no restaurant in the hotel.

Kokeiltiin perheen kanssa pari yötä juniorisviittiä 2. kerroksessa. Huoneisto ( 2 erillistä tilaa, ei ovea välissä ) oli uusi, tyylikäs, iso, puhdas ja ihanan viileä. Hotelli on positiivinen yllätys ja erinomainen lisä Vierumäelle. Vierailu osui 30 asteen helteiden aikaan ja iso kiitos kerrankin hyvin toimivasta ilmastoinnista ja ilmanvaihdosta. Ihanan viileyden ansiosta annoin 5 tähteä vaikka pesuhuone ei ehkä sisustukseltaan ihan luksustasolle yllä. Pesuhuoneessa oli hyödyllinen kuivauskaappi ja pyyhkeitä sai pyydettäessa lisää, mikä oli hyvä liikuntaleireille osallistujille. Palvelu oli ystävällistä vaikka huomasi että hotelli on vasta aloittanut toimintansa. Aamiainen oli oikein hyvä ja tyylikkäästi tarjoiltu. Aluksi hämmästytti että aamiainen syötiin sisääntuloaulassa ja ulkona, mutta hyvin se sujui näin kesällä ainakin. …

Löysimme uudelle hotellille hyvin, tienviitat olivat kunnossa. Iloksemme pihasta löytyi sähköautolle latauspiste, iso bonus. Kirjautuminen sujui hyvin. Hlökunta oli koko vierailun ajan erittäin ystävällinen ja huomioiva. Hyvä aamupala, kaksi eri vaihtoehtoa samaan hintaan. Huoneet siistit ja juuri laitetut. Hieman kevyt varustus hotelliksi, mutta vastasi tarpeitamme. Sänky oli hyvä ja huoneessa kuivauskaappi. Wi-Fi toimi ok. Remontti oli vielä kesken hotellin ulkopuolelta. Siitä oli hieman aamuhäiriötä, mutta tämä huomioitiin hlökunnan toimesta hyvin. Ilmastointi oli lisätty huoneisiin Ilkan ajoista, mikä oli hyvä lisä kuumalla ilmalla. Sijainti Vierumäellä tosi hyvä. Menisimme uudelleenkin Fennadaan.
