I've stayed here several times on business by myself and also with my family. It's a nice location just a couple miles outside Chinandega. Rooms are quiet and all face a large open-atrium-cental area that has plants, benches, etc. Rooms are clean, have AC and are decently clean. The restaurant serves great food. I've had the Mexican special and the...

The hotel rooms were ample size and so were the bathrooms. I stayed for a week and always felt safe within the property. The food was bland and monotonous containing mainly rice and beans. The AC was absolutely amazing after long days. The staff was extremely helpful and I felt comfortable leaving my valuables with them. My showers were always...

Stayed here for a week this month and was very satisfied. Rooms are large, with very simple and practical furniture. Bathrooms are also large with clean showers and good hot water. Nice pool and covered cabana and bar outside. Indoor restaurant serves good food, though be prepared to eat a lit if rice, beans, and plantains. Wi-fi is very poor,...

The common areas of this compound are open air. The rooms are simple, with great AC, TV, and WiFi. We stayed 5 nights and it was very pleasant. The food was a bit repetitive, but it was good (we stayed away from uncooked produce and did not use the tap water or ice.) Remember, clean water is a precious resource...

Hello everyone!!! if you want a good customer service please avoid this hotel. I booked this hotel for my senior parents thinking that they would be treated with respect and they would enjoyed their stays but instead it was the opposite. When my parents went for their breakfast ( which is included) there were treated as if they had entered...

I stayed at this hotel for over a week in 2006 while on a consulting trip in the area. I loved the hotel, and I particularly loved the view of the three nearby volcanoes from the back door and the back yard. And, I also really loved the little areas in the hotel, literally interior gardens, that were filled with...

My recent stay there was very satisfactory. The AC was so good that sleeping was no problem in spite of the hot days. I really liked playing in the pool with my grandson and family a couple of the days and even had a nice coconut drink that the gardener cut for me. The breakfasts in the dining room were...

We just returned from spending 6 lovely days at Hotel Los Volcanes in Chinandega. Staff at the hotel are friendly and accomodating. In general, our philosophy is to treat folks like family, tip generously, and be clear about any special needs/requests - worked out beautifully. All of the staff were introduced to our very active 3 year old and worked...

We recently took a team here for a free day - it is a wonderful spot, centrally located to the beach and other sights. The rooms are large, with hot water and A/C. We dined there one night and the food was decent - not spectacular. Little things to watch for - if you need water, they do not have...

This hotel is well-managed and a great value. We had 4 in our family and expected 2 beds, but they gave us a room with 3 beds and then brought in a 4th. It was very hot but the air conditioning worked well and when the power went out at night they quickly powered up a generator to restore electricity....
