A group staying in val thorens for the second time, much better accommodation experience than previous. Spacious apartment, clean with all expectations met. Great ski In ski out facilities and access to the spa, really the icing on the cake. Location good near shops bars and restaurants, and only a 5 minute walk from the town centre. Highly recommended, well...

Residence Les Balcons is divided into hotel rooms, self-catering and catered chalets. We stayed in a catered chalet with Crystal Ski in Les Balcons 5 chalet 3 - whilst the decor is dated, the rooms are small but very clean and well presented - the food cooked by our chalet hosts Callum, Rosie and Izzy was nicely presented and our...

Very cold swimming pool. Nice jazuzzi. Unfortuntatly you cannot ski directly to the skiclass in the morning and back directly to the hotel. Especially for little kids this is inconvenient. Long ques elevator. Dirty appartment. Not a 4 star experience.

We booked Les Blacons de Val Thorens as a last-minute, because a fraudulent accoummodation (Belambra: le Hameau des Airelles) had cancelled our booking without any reason. It was quite expensive, but this was because almost every accommodation in Val Thorens was fully booked at that time. The appartment was cosy and had everything we need. the whirlpool bad was a...

We stayed in skiworld chalet clementine, which is located in chalet 5 of les balcons. I was a little nervous about this holiday because of some of the dodgy reviews and complaints on trip advisor but I have to say that I was really impressed. We were a mixed group ranging from 18month to 50 year olds, couples and singles....

Nice size appartment. A bit small toilett. Good location on topp off the valley overlooking the area... Pluss for having a spa and bathing area in the complex. Not the best ski-in ski-out solution... But all in all a good place to spend the skivacation... 😀

Had a great week skiing and relaxing in the catered chalet. The Helen and Katie were great, with excellent food and attention to detail. The position of the chalet was good for competent skiers when the snow is in good condition and the living area was big enough for 13. A great place for a group of friends or a...

We were 5 persons in an apartment which accommodates up to 6 persons. I'll start off with the good things (since there are fewer of these) - the kitchen is well equipped with both cooking and dining dishes, also the spa is nice. For the bad stuff - what isn't mentioned is that the 5th and 6th guests will be...

Having read some other reviews of this place before writing my own, I agree that the ski-in is definitely only for more experienced skiers, as the final 200 meters down the slope are very steep. However it was no problem for me. The staff was friendly and efficient enough, the pool and sauna were crowded but really nice after a...

I stayed over in this property- the staff provided very nice service. Several issues to be considered though: Pros: 1. Nearby grocery store 2. Nearby rental and ski/snowboard stores 3. Descent Spa 4. Nice jacuzzi bathtub at the house 5. Nearby 2 nice restaurants Cons: 1. Location is very far from the city centre, literally the last point in town....
