Hotel "le paquis" is a nice and cosy hotel with very beautiful decoration but, the rooms and beds are very very small. 13 square meters room and the beds are no longer than 190cm with bad mattresses! you just can't stay in your room without lying on your bed. The spa is very small (3 person sauna, 1 shower, 4... More

We were both sad and disappointed to read your review. Size of our rooms is normal for a 3 stars (see this link: https://www.classement.atout-france.fr/les-engagements-cles#Les%20h%C3%B4tels%20de%20tourisme), 190cm for a bed it is standard size: nothing unusual for a 3 stars. Small spa for you, but never our 35 rooms are going to our spa in the same time. Internet thanks for mention... More

Just returned from a ski trip to Tignes. The hotel is spotlessly clean and have modern bedrooms and bathrooms. The breakfast is eaten whilst overlooking the frozen lake, ski slopes and mountains. After a hard day on the slopes it was nice to relax in the hot tub and steam room. I would highly recommend staying at Le Paquis as... More

We stayed at this hotel for a week from the 3rd January 2015 as a family of 5 adults. It's is a traditional hotel and full of character and charm. The staff really look after you, the rooms are clean and the hot tub a great retreat after a day skiing. It is convenient to the centre but quiet so... More

Stayed here in April and came back again in December for a cheeky long weekend. Welcomed back like old friends. Great food, friendly service and lovely relaxed atmosphere. The local cheeseboard and extensive wine list both big hits! Enjoyed the post ski sauna and hammam. Will be back I'm sure. Recommend the family rooms with separate rooms, including their own... We stayed at the Paquis for a week in a family 'suite': inter-connected double and bunk rooms, each with bathroom. Smallish rooms but really cosy-wooden bunks v well done. Lovely view from the balcony. Excellent food (we found the English translations of the menu hilarious). Really tasty meals. V friendly service. Convenient ski locker and heated boot racks. Quiet free... More

When we booked our stay we were drawn in by lovely photo of a nice room with wooden panels, very mountain location like. When we arrived the room we received did not resemble anything like what the brochure was saying. Concrete walls, could hardly move in the bathroom. We stayed over the Christmas week of the 21st-28th December 2013. We arrived fairly early in the day, and we were greeted by the daughter of the hotel.
