Our family of 5 stayed in this small family run hotel for a weeks skiing this year. Very good half board option. Close to the airport works well. Private transfer or too expensive. Even better shuttle bus for ski lifts stops outside the front door. Food really was very good. Love this village. Second time in Samoens. Typically French. Best... More

We were walking the GR5, the long distance walk and arrived in the middle of a thunderstorm having made a reservation via the Tourist Information Office. We had a warm welcome at this well presented and situate hotel, within easy walking distance of the town centre. The family room was spacious and clean. The breakfast ( at 13 euros )... More

We stayed here to go skiing in someon. The hotel is well located in the town, not too far from the lift which is about a 10-15 min walk. The hotel has great facilities for its price with a good pool, nice sauna and table tennis table. Food in the hotel was good although the breakfast a little sparse. If... More

Used this hotel with a large group of friends whilst walking the GR5. I stayed in one of the 2 bedroom chalets at the rear of the hotel. The room was spacious and full of quality fittings. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a buffet with loads of choice and plenty of local produce. A short walk to... More

We ate dinner here after arriving late in Samoens. We were very pleasantly surprised with the tastiness of the meal - not expecting anything special as the hotel looks very inviting and cosy but quite similar to other small hotels. We shared the terrine - it was delicious, as was the tartiflette and the dessert melted as you put it... More

We did not stay at this hotel, rather we booked to go there for an evening meal. We could see that it was a lovely hotel, clean, warm and creating a great impression. The restaurant was also lovely and everything was set out beautifully at our table. The food when it was served looked great BUT it was tasteless. What... More

Extremely nice, simple, well equipped (Jacuzzi, swimming pool, sauna) Savoyard hotel. Traditional design, traditional food, extremely nice staff, very good location - nothing better to enjoy French Alpes. .

I stayed here for five nights with friends for a skiing holiday. It's very much a family-run hotel. We were made to feel very welcome and all the staff were charming. The restaurant evening meal was very good. Overall it was very good value. I would definitely return.

All the rooms are very different in size and facility. We were on the main road opposite the enormous building site. We could have changed to the side of the hotel but the room was much smaller. No incentives to eat at the hotel but the dining room looked nice. Plenty of really good patisseries a few steps away to... More

We have just spent a few days in the hotel. It was excellent. It is family run,and nothing was to much trouble, for the Coffy family. The food was terrific, and it was extremely well run. As it was very hot in Samoens, the pool was a bonus. We hope to return soon and wish the Coffey family and staff... More
