Stayed here for a long weekend (Thursday to Monday) in a three bedroom apartment in B block of the complex. The apartment was on the first floor, with a balcony and ski locker. The apartment is basic & functional with small fridge, small oven/grill, dining...More
3 families, 8 children, all daughter..So a really challenge family trip outdoor Geneva....The hotel is nice, reception is OK but do not ask them the swimming pool after 5pm.....they look at you as you were crazy. I would advise to rethink the swimming pool hours....rooms...More
Can't fault this place. The apartment was clean, spacious and quiet. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. There's a bus stop outside the main entrance that takes you to the main gondola or town centre in less than 5 minutes, and there's a...More
The location of these chalet's was great, this was a really lovely town and I'd come back, though maybe not to that exact chalet. Nothing majorly wrong, but there wasn't really enough comfortable seats for 7 people ( the chalet can sleep 10) and a...More
The accommodation is basic but spacious and well equipped, although no kettle! Within walking distance of local shops and restaurants. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Swimming pool is very small although ok for a quick dip. Recommend booking garage for parking.

Hi guys. The bus journey takes about 5 minutes and runs from before the grand massif express (gme)lift opens in the morning and they run until it closes. The grand massif express runs on a little bit later than the hill lifts so there is time to have a quick drink at Samoens 1600. You wouldn't want to stay up at 1600 any later than the last gme lift as you would then be stuck. In the event you needed to walk, which I can't see happening, it would probably take about 20 minutes, but I have never done it. I wouldn't fancy it in ski boots, I'm too soft for that.
Early evening is my favourite drinking time in the village, still in my ski gear. It's at its busiest then.
The apartments are great value for money, we have booked now for the 5th year in a row.
I like the aspen cafe in the evening right after skiing. Later on I go to coveys Irish pub. There is a Sherpa shop just a 5 minute walk away from the apartment and they sell pretty well all you need, or if you need a big shop there is. Carrefour supermarket just outside town. Tiffany bakery is amazing.
If your flying into Geneva and hiring a car, make sure you hire on the Swiss side and not the French side. The drive is very easy and takes about an hour.
If you have any more questions, just ask.
You will have a great time in certain.
